Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Special thanks to Jenny and Maya who were always at hand via WhatsApp to answer any questions or solve any problems that arose promptly.
Due to my UK bank not completing my fund transfer before I travelled I had the pleasure of meeting the entire TAA team when I went into their office to make full payment when I was in Hanoi. Being in the UK I was slightly apprehensive at the start to be sending money to a company in Vietnam that I knew nothing about apart from some reviews on the internet. But I have to say it was the best decision I made. Even though my payment had not arrived with TAA they still went ahead and booked my 12 hotels and 4 internal flights for our one month trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. The trust they showed in me to do this and the level of customer service throughout our trip you would not get from a UK tour operator. The itinerary that Jenny put together was perfect for what we wanted and was excellent value for money compared to booking with the big brand UK tour operators.
I cannot recommend this company high enough and will definitely be using them again in the future.

If you are seeking to travel in SE Asia with a few good friends, we highly recommend Travel Authentic Asia. We are truly grateful to Ngoan Lee and her team for organizing a month-long tour to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. Before we chose the company, Ngoan fielded endless questions that assured us of the competence of the outfit and gave us the opportunity to fine tune the program to our interests and experience. Once on tour, guides were friendly and knowledgeable, the hotels comfortable, the food excellent, and the itinerary well organized, varied and truly engaging. We greatly appreciated the attention to detail, flexibility of the itinerary and solicitousness for our welfare. Should we travel to the region again, we would not hesitate to go with TAA.

We are so happy that we chose Travel Authentic Asia to plan, organize and produce the wonderful and special trip to Vietnam.
Already at the first stage, we felt that we were talking with a local, experienced agency, attentive to our special wishes and needs. Jenny helped us a lot to build an itinerary that matched our desires, so that we could experience in the best way the essence of life in Vietnam.
We especially asked to have an opportunity to get to know the lives of the residents and not just to walk around the places and tourist sites, but to actually go to the villages, the alleys and the restaurants where the residents themselves eat and meet - and that was indeed the case.
Also Maya, who accompanied this stunning trip behind the scenes, took care of every detail and took care of the solutions to the difficulties that arose with some service provider efficiently, pleasantly and quickly.
The guides were amazing too, Linda and Maya (Hanoi), Bao (Hoi An), Mya (on the Vespa tour in Saigon) and Tan (in Saigon). They all speak clear and excellent English, are pleasant and helpful. Close relationships were formed with all of them, which we hope will be maintained.
First, we recommend going to visit Vietnam. We were only there for two weeks and we feel that we could definitely have stayed much longer in this special country. The views, the people, the food... what not actually...
Secondly, those who are thinking of going to Vietnam - then only with Travel Authentic Asia.

We just completed a 2 week tour of Cambodia and Vietnam with Travel Authentic Asia.
We started planning the trip early in the year in Jan/Feb. Due to the pandemic, a lot of flights were still not operational between the two countries, hotels not fully open, etc… making the planning challenging, but Ngoan Le of TAA made it seem so seamless. She worked with me patiently and professionally until all the details were worked out by the time of our travel in June.
The trip began with our guide Channak in Siem Reap. He was extremely knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and all the surrounding temples, making our visit all the more enjoyable and enriching.
The trip continued on to Phnom Penh and Vietnam, starting with Ho Chi Minh City where we explored the city and Mekong Delta with our guide Susan who was also very knowledgeable about the city and the whole area in general. She was extremely pleasant to work with!
We continued north from there to Hoi An, Da Nang and Hue with our guide Toàn who was also very attentive and knowledgeable. Then onto exploring Hanoi and Ninh Binh with Hung, again, a pleasure to tour with and concluded the trip with an overnight cruise to Halong Bay which was the perfect end to our holiday.
For the most part, the restaurants TAA picked out for us for meals included in the tour were excellent and Ngoan made sure that everyone was informed of our dietary preferences.
Throughout our tour, TAA staff were in constant touch with us and our guides to ensure everything was going well, which was very comforting and reassuring.
All in all, the entire team of TAA and their partners were wonderful to work with and ensured that we had a truly diverse, cultural and memorable experience!

In January 2023 we (3 couple) traveled for a three weeks holiday in Laos and Cambodia.
Choosing Authentic Asia Travel was the very best choice we had made for this trip. From the preparation stages to the end of the journey we allways felt a very professional handling of our wishes.
Jenny had a great understanding for our wishes and helped us with many valuable suggestions which made the trip absolutely fantastic.
During the entire trip, there was constant follow-up on whether everything went well (Maya Tran)
Due to the lenght of the trip we had three different guides who were all fantastic with great knowledge of the areas visited and always keeping an eye on our wishes. Likewise, the drivers were very competent so that we could always feel 100% safe.
In short, everything was perfect and definitely a company we can highly recommend and would use again.

We had booked some private port tours with this company for our cruise out of Singapore which was subsequently cancelled. When I contacted them to sadly cancel the tours, they suggested arranging an 11 day overland tour of Vietnam and Cambodia for us and our friends to take the place of the cruise. We were not disappointed! We had private drivers and guides and were provided with top notch hotels that were perfectly located in every city we visited. All of the days were filled with wonderful tours covering all of the must sees and dos in each place. They booked and checked us in for all of our flights and even offered to arrange other tours and transfers my husband & I wanted when we moved on to Bangkok & Thailand! Our tour was very well planned and communicated. You can’t go wrong by choosing this amazing company if visiting Asia. Thank you again!

We used Travel Authentic Asia to book the Halong bay full day tour and we were not disappointed. We decided to take a private tour rather than one offered by our cruise ship,Celebrity cruises , as it was only for 6hrs around the bay and for a larger group. This private tour was 9hrs and 16people max and cheaper.
Le Ngoan our tour contact was great during the booking process and kept us upto date with itinerary until the date.
Our tour guide met us as the front of the port as explained to us and he was great. His English and knowledge of Vietnam overall and the Halong Bay Area was great.
Lunch was provided on the boat and was sufficient included in the tour cost.
Our Dietary requirements were taken into account and catered for. As a Muslim couple we did settled for a non seafood (preference) and a veggie lunch. 1 soft drink was provide with lunch but more could be purchased at reasonable prices. We were offered a complementary water in a lovely glass bottle when we first boarded the junk boat.
Toilets on the boat were clean and spacious
The boat was more than enough for 16 people suggested on the tour.
We left early around 9am and sailed out into the Bay where it was not busy at all. The weather and scenery was beautiful.
We went around the fishing village on a 4 person boat but there was the option to kayak. Wouldn’t suggest it if you are not fit or comfortable as the tour around the fishing village area took approximately 45mins
We skipped the pearl farm here but visited one onshore at the end of the Halong bay tour before heading back to our ship. There was no pressure to buy jewelry etc which was good
Whilst on the bay We visited one cave and relaxed on the beach for a short time taking photos. There were no other group tours whilst we went up and down to the cave ( slippery and tiring up the 100 or so steps ) so it was lovely and not busy at all.
I would recommend Travel Authentic Asia and will definitely use them again if we travel back to this area of the world again.

My wife and I have just completed a month-long private tour of Southeast Asia purchased from Travel Authentic Asia. We both agree that this was the travel adventure of a lifetime. Jenny, along with Anne, made every step of the process seamless, including itineraries, transfers, and hotel and flight check-ins. TAA didn’t simply do a thorough job of planning, they communicated with us regularly throughout the trip to ensure that things were going well. When we needed to make an occasional change along the way, they made it happen. Our guides and drivers were always prompt, but more importantly, were kind and interesting people with whom we bonded. TAA provided us the opportunity to see and learn about SE Asia from local people. That’s how we wanted to experience SE Asia, and this company delivered. TAA has earned our highest recommendation.

This tour operator is first class. We were slightly nervous about using a Hanoi based company to plan our trip but we made the right decision.
Mya was wonderful in helping us plan our 3 week private trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. She was endlessly patient in answering questions and giving itinerary suggestions and gave us the confidence we needed to jump into the unknown! All the hotels, internal flights, transfers and guides were all prebooked.
Once we embarked upon our adventure Thomas ensured that everything ran like clockwork. He and Mya seemed to be available 24/7 which is extremely reassuring but unbelievably dedicated! Do you lovely people never have any time off🥰? Seriously though, we are so grateful for your care and attention.

We didn't tour with Authentic Asia from off a ship. We flew to Bangkok from Singapore and that is where they met our group at the airport. Then we flew from country to country where their guides promptly met us at arrivals, complete with our name on a board they were holding when they greeted us. We are so sorry for this inconvenience. Hope that is would not upset you too much.
If we are correct, you sent us request under the name Raquel Rodriguez. We have checked the system and work out that your request has been assigned to one of our staff and she is working on the plan for you. The problem was that this staff had a very big group (70 people) to travel to Halong Bay so she had came down there to make sure everything is perfect for the group and just forgot to note with you.

You should join the cruise critic role call for your cruise, and you may find other people who are interested in doing the same tours as you, this will make it much cheaper. Their organisation of our tours was excellent. We did three tours with the same group from our ship to Ho Chi Minh City, Hue Danang and Halong Bay, all were excellent.

Hi. I have been trying to get in touch with this company as I was so impressed with the reviews here on TA and also the tours they offer on their website. The form on the website is not working and I have not had a response to two emails I have sent to the info@'. I also tried the hcmc@ but received an error message to say the account does not exist. Can anyone help? Do they still exist?

Hi there; we will be on a Cruise Line (Celebrity Cruise) arriving at the Halong Bay on March 7/8th. A package was already set up for a Marci Gorenstein on another date (different ship), and I would like to arrange the same for the above dates. I was referred to ask for Ngoan Le.
