Centered in the middle of lake, this is a nice decoration that you still concentrate on when you want around the lake.

During a walk of this beautiful lake you cannot help but look to the centre and admire this small tower (Turtle Tower), seeing at night is even better as it comes alive at night with illumination.

Looking across Hoan Kiem Lake you can see a small tower standing on a inaccessible small island, it is known as Turtle or Tortoise Tower. The tower was built in 1886 to commemorate a local fifteenth century folk hero.

You can't miss it. It is in the middle of the lake. You can walk all around the lake and see it from different angle.

It seem very lonely and special. It was built after the king Le Loi returned the fairy sword back to the turttle Genie (based on the legend).

The tower is in the middle of a large lake and not that easy to see. I didn't see any turtles when I was in Hanoi.
