We booked our 3 week tour of Vietnam and Cambodia with Viet Vision after reading the great reviews. Tania our contact with Viet Vision asked if we had specific ideas and requirements for our trip and came up with great ideas and a choice of hotels at different prices. Responses were prompt. We arrived on flight VN0054 from Heathrow on the 2nd March and did two days guided tours in Hanoi, a trip to Sapa on the over night train and night on a river boat in Ha Long Bay. The organisation was seamless from booking our flights over from the Uk to the choice of accommodation and the guides all spoke good English. Our Hanoi guide Choung , was great fun and very knowledgeable. The evening street food tour gave us the confidence to go to places we wouldn’t have tried otherwise. The guide in Sapa took us to her village, we did Batik here which was great fun but tested my husband’s artist skills to the limit!
The boat trip at Halong was well organised and again the local guide on the boat was excellent, food lovely too.
Unfortunately at this point our trip took a turn for the worse as on our return to Hanoi (ready to catch a plane the next day to Hui) we were told a woman on our flight from Heathrow 5 days earlier had Covid 19 and we were to be quarantined. WE were lucky in that we did our 9 days quarantine in the hotel Tania had booked for us the Hanoi Authentic Hotel. We remained in our room ordering room service and Tania liaised with the hotel management and the local health authorities on our behalf. We have been kept informed and up to date with the testing process and results (both negative, phew). The staff and especially Tania have been amazing and sent encouraging messages on WhatsApp every day. We even got presents from Viet Vision of a beautiful skill scarf and a cashmere one for my husband. The CEO even made us spring rolls and delivered them with a bottle of wine. I cant imagine many travel companies doing that.
We are cutting short our trip and Tania and the team have sorted out the cancellation and rebooking of our flights home.
We will return to finish our sightseeing in Vietnam and Cambodia and will definitely use Viet Vision.

We had a fantastic trip to Vietnam last month thanks to Tracey and her team at Viet Vision Travel! It was definitely beyond our expectations and a very good deal.
We found Viet Vision Travel online, which caught our attention with their 9 day highlights tour in Vietnam. It was our first time to visit Vietnam and the tour covered basically all our places of interest. Tracey responded to our inquiry email immediately, and until the last day of our trip, she had kept in touch with us closely. We appreciated her reliable and prompt assistance, as well as her hospitality to meet us in person at her office in Hanoi.
More specifically, we were impressed with Viet Vision Travel particularly on the following points:
First, it was a custom-made private tour; we could add 10th day to their standard 9 day plan and make additional minor changes. While traveling, we always had a nice private car, joining a group activity (with other tourists) only twice when we explored Halong Bay and the countryside of Hoi An. Since we prefer to be independent travelers, this kind of organized private tour was a perfect solution in seeing a country like Vietnam that lacks good public transportation. We could maximize our time there, while keeping our freedom and privacy to a comfortable level.
Second, their guides and drivers were excellent! We enjoyed so much talking with our local guides and learned a lot about their culture and customs. We were truly impressed by some of the guides, who were very knowledgeable about history and great communicators in English. The pairs of a driver & guide, who were very friendly and professional in accompanying us, made our entire time in Vietnam so pleasant and memorable.
We highly recommend Viet Vision Travel to all future travelers to Vietnam, particularly to those who love activities and adventures.

Tracey at Viet Vision was very helpful and flexible as this trip was planned. The holiday was complex - 4 couples and two children joining and leaving a three week tour of Cambodia and Vietnam at different dates due to work and school commitments. The organisation of the trip was excellent and the service seamless. The hotels selected were of very good quality. The guides , drivers and vehicles provided were all of high quality and carefully chosen to suit the size of the group which varied over 3 weeks from 2 - 10. The group included at various times grandparents, couples and a family of four with a 4 year old and a teenager. All the proposed excursions were appropriate and exciting and/or interesting. The included boat trip in Ha Long bay was of very high quality more luxurious even than the very good hotels provided on the rest of the trip.
This high quality, logistically complicated,and personalised trip was provided at a cost less than a standard group trip.
Very highly recomended.

This is an outstanding travel company in every respect, from suggestions, response, organisation, to value for money.
It organised a 4 week trip through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, listening to what we wanted, and our budget, and then coming up with an itinerary which we could then revise and hone.
Everything worked well, there were no mishaps, and their attention to detail was second to none.
As an experiencced traveller I can genuinely say this outfit is the best I have used and experienced.
Particular mention goes to Rebecca Tam, our sales agent, who was outstanding at her job.
It organised a 4 week trip through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, listening to what we wanted, and our budget, and then coming up with an itinerary which we could then revise and hone.

I have booked custom tours with Tracey from Viet Vision Travel 3 times over 5 years and have been very happy with each tour (3 week, 5 week, 2 week tailored tour). Prices are reasonable and service is fantastic. Tracey is available via WhatsApp all times of the day and is always there when things aren’t going according to plan (e.g cancelled flights) with an alternate solution. The staff at Viet Vision Travel always go the extra mile to please their customers. I would not hesitate to book with them again and definitely recommend the company.

Tracey and Jeanny are really helpful in all my questions. I've booked a 2 week customised trip with them but unfortunately Covid happened. They worked tirelessly to suit our budget (in providing us with a quote) and they provided us with excellent customer service throughout the whole process. They kept us informed.
I will definitely use them again in the future once it's safe to travel. Will keep in touch with them!

Having looked at previous reviews online we decided to book a 5 night tour with Viet Vision Travel at the end of May. We were impressed by the prompt responses from Lynn to our enquiry and also that she was able to arrange an itinerary according to our requests. We stayed in 3 different cities (Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue) and were able to visit 4 UNESCO World Heritage sites in central Vietnam plus several other places of interest which included attending an impressive heritage performance in Hoi An.
The company organised an excellent tour guide (Mr Tuas - Billy) and driver (Tan) who met us on our arrival at Da Nang airport (at 20.40), picked us up every morning from the hotel for our full day’s itinerary, and also took us back to Da Nang airport for our flight home. Billy took special care over selecting places for our lunches, ensuring that we were able to sample both local and national specialities – all of which we enjoyed very much. In the short time we were in Vietnam, it would have been extremely difficult to see so many interesting places and learn so much about the culture and history of Vietnam, and also Asia, without Billy and Viet Vision Travel.
Two final points perhaps worth mentioning are that the tap water in Vietnam is generally not drinking water so it’s best to buy bottled water, also to be wary about eating street food unless you know how it was prepared and how long ago it was prepared.

Booked a Hanoi city day tour with Viet Vision. Lynn responded to my request promptly and assisted with my various queries. All information (itinerary, payment, guide & meeting time) were reconfirmed again before meeting up on actual day.
Vito (Tung) was our tour guide and he spoke in fluent English. Besides ensuring that we were safe during the tour, he also recommended a good cafe for egg coffee. The tour was well paced and we had ample time at each destination. We visited KOTO Van Mieu restaurant for lunch and the food was delicious.

The 5-day Hanoi - Halong Bay Cruise Sapa tour package by Viet Vision Travel was absolutely fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough of Tracey for her exceptional support. From our initial email exchanges to going through the itinerary, she displayed professionalism and attentiveness. Everything was meticulously planned and executed, from airport transfers to hotel accommodations, city tours, the Halong Bay cruise, and the trip to Sapa. The Silk Queen Hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter was clean and conveniently located, with friendly staff who even upgraded our room. The meals on the Le Journey Cruise were delicious, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The only downside was that our room on the cruise was a bit small for three people, and there were some mosquitoes at night. However, the village tour in Sapa, guided by an English-speaking lady, was a highlight. I highly recommend Viet Vision Travel for their excellent service and unforgettable tour experience.

Viet Vision had clearly done a lot of work to provide day tours for our cruise groups in Hitachinaka, Miyako, Hakodate, and Kushiro. Sadly, we did not get to go on any of the four. The cruise line canceled the cruise because of coronavirus.
You may ask, how could I write such a favorable review for tours we did not actually go on. The answer is easy: services were provided for planning. When the cruise was canceled, Viet Vision had an emergency meeting because of the extraordinary circumstances. They changed their cancellation policy big time for this event, they provided updates on their progress, they promised refunds before March 31, and they delivered refunds by 1st week of March for us.
I cannot speak too highly of Ms Tracey Nguyen. All her responses to questions were prompt and thorough, with the perfect blend of professionalism and personality.
Will we book with Viet Vision another time based on this experience? Certainly!

I wanted to amend my prior review for Viet Vision Travel and this is the only way I found that would allow that. After a delay of about 2 weeks, I, along with others in my group, did receive our refunds for the canceled tour. It seems that there was some delay due to staff illness and holidays in Vietnam. Unfortunately, due to poor wifi service on the ship we were on, I wasn't able to load the Tripadvisor site so I could amend the review sooner. I would upgrade my review to 3 at this time mainly because I still feel that they should have known earlier that their operator in Manila couldn't fulfill the arranged tour. However, that's something for the two companies to work out among themselves.

Viet Vision was wonderful to deal with so I am guessing they had no timely notification of the cancellation. I really don’t believe that Trip Advisor should be used for advancing an agenda of frustration when there is an occurrence outside the control of a business. Things happen.

We are doing tours in Vietnam with Shore excursion Asia. We are sailing on NCL Jewel. Do we need Visas for the day tours? we keep getting different answers from yes (through embassy $200) (through ship $89) (through news articles $5 from Customs), and then a no from the shore excursions. We just want to pay more than necessary but we don;t want to get left on the ship.

Thank you for your question. I suppose our sales - Ms. Liz sent you email to clarify.
Kindly note that you don't need to apply visa through Shore Excursions Asia one more time because from our side, we just need your passport information to submit port permission. Cruise ship will take care visa at all arrival ports then provide a "Landing Card" to enter places passengers visit. Therefore, the best way is to contact cruise line for visa assistance.

sorry for the very late reply--didn't see your message. I don't know exactly what you're asking in your question. We had a lady guide named Takako and our driver we just called Mr. F as his name was hard to pronounce. I just went to google and typed in the tour company name or you can go into tripadvisor and just research things to do. Hope this helps!
