Authentic ethnic hill tribe clothing and textiles
May 2019 • Solo
The second floor of the shop is where all the excellent stuff are - tunics, jackets, trousers, skirts and miscellaneous handmade textiles from the various ethnic groups of Vietnam (eg. Hmong, Dao, Nung, Kotu, Lu) can be found here. Prices are relatively reasonable. I'm extremely satisfied with my Nung and Red Dao jackets. Recommended if you are into authentic vintage handmade clothing and textiles.

Some of the best shopping I found in Vietnam
Jan 2018 • Friends
Now, I am a sucker for old tribal textiles, so please view this review through that lens. These sisters have the most wonderful shop with the most amazing assortment of tribal textiles I have seen in my travels to over 31 countries. Prices are very reasonable and they are so helpful in finding exactly what you are looking for. Be sure and ask them about their Etsy shop.

Interesting and reasonably priced
Dec 2016 • Solo
The shop offers a good variety of older textiles. The owner also offer their services for producing items from cloth the customers has sourced elsewhere. The items on offer were reasonably priced given their quality. The selection obviously varies over time as this is not an outlet store for an NGO. Thus, it depends a bit on luck to find what one is looking for. I will be back and make this store a must-see location for my future visits.

Great Ethnic shopping

Love this shop! I stop by every time I go to Hanoi. First floor has scarves, hill tribe pillowcases, and some of the usual souvenirs. Second floor is clothing and fabric/ embroidered pieces from Sapa. Wonderful assortment and prices are extremely fair.

Lots of souvenirs
May 2016 • Solo
The craft guild sells all kinds of souvenirs in one place. They have a friendly staff but are pretty much all the same products every other store sells.

Don't be fooled by the 'craft guild' title; as far as I can tell they were just a other souvenir shop.

Their 2nd floor is a hidden treasure.
Mar 2016 • Friends
We have purchased items from these wonderful ladies for over 15 years. Be sure to visit their 2nd floor to see there pre-owned items that they have collected from people in the countryside. We have purchased many colorful minority's skirts to use around Christmas trees, old irons to place candles in, old baskets and on-and-on. Their inventory is always changing. And these ladies are involved with helping the local people in need, so your money goes toward a good cause.

Good quality low hassle shop
Oct 2015 • Couples
this shop sells the usual souvenirs as well as some really stunning textiles and traditional costumes. The manager was very knowledgeable and helpful. I liked that there wasn't haggling and the prices seemed fair. They were very honest and gave me back money when I overpaid them. Its well located in a quite street which is a bonus in peak hour traffic. There is a great cafe across the road for bored husbands.

Doesn't live up to the name
Dec 2013 • Solo
I was expecting this place to like an end all, be all place for my souvenir hunting. It wasn't even close. It had the same knick knacks found in every store, and the selection was far less impressive.

The time I spent looking for this place was totally wasted, I felt. You can find better things and bargains by just walking around the Old Quarter.

Wouldn't recommend it.
