I was supposed to leave for Vietnam on 13 march, Open Vietnam tours contacted me day before to tell me that some of the tours that we booked were going to be cancelled. So we decided to cancel our trip to Vietnam. We were so lucky, cause we would have been stuck in Vietnam for I don't know how long. I ALLREADY PAID A DEPOSIT OF 500 USD, WHEN I ASKED HIM IF IT WOULD BE REFUNDED, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD HAPPEN WITHIN 2 WEEKS, AND I CAN CONFIRM THAT IN A LITTLE OVER A WEEK THE MONEY WAS REFUNDED ON MY VISA CREDIT CARD. A special thanks for Traci that was in contact with me on whatsapp. Thank you for the great service and we wil certainly come visit Vietnam and surely book with your company. Fantastic service. Thank you again

We did a 2 night 3 day tour with this operator and it was faultless from the pick up to the return. Fabulous seeing Halong bay and well worth the money, we went on Royal palace cruise and we had a private balcony on the stern which was magical. Would definitely recommend and use again. Many thanks 🙏

We took the Hoa Lu - Tam Coc day tour from Hanoi on the 31st October. First the good parts: the driver was very safe on the roads, the temples at Hoa Lu were very interesting and the highlight of the day was the boat trip at Tam Coc, which was absolutely fantastic. The bad parts: the biking at Tam Coc was not as advertised. The itinerary says that you bike along quiet village roads, this is not the case. Instead it is just a gravel track, which is very rocky and uneven. The bikes are very old and not maintained and in my opinion are dangerous with broken brakes and flat tires, especially on uneven ground and with no helmets. I ended up walking with mine part way, which did not please the guide who didn't seem at all interested in our safety. We had arranged previously to be dropped at Ninh Binh station for our overnight train, but instead they left us at Tam Coc and we had to get a taxi the rest of the way. He even had the cheek to ask for a tip before he left. Overall, the area is beautiful, but choose a different company.

Our entire family enjoyed a very relaxing day with our tour guide “Bruce Lee”. We hired the boat for just our family so that we could make the trip the most compatible with our family’s interests. We went kayaking, explored “Amazing Cave” and then went swimming at a small beach. The boat was perfect for our family.

We booked the Tam Coc Tour to the so called „Dry Halong Bay“. The Bus arrived quite punctal in the morning and the guide welcomed us friendly. The bus stopped the first time at a big souvenirshop after a two hour ride. There were lot‘s of other touristbusses and it is in total just a big rip off. Why is this stopp necessairy? After that, we arrived in Nin Binh and got an average tour through the old city, which is a composition of two rebuild temples. Than we got some lunch in a big and crowdy restaurant (Buffet)... it fills your tummy. That‘s it. The biketour after lunch was horrible. The bikes were just a bunch of trash. Breaks didn‘t work, missing pedals, flat tires. Not just uncomfi indeed quite dangerous. Not ok to offer, not even for a short tour. The boattour was fun. The landscape is more then beautiful. The ride back was exausting. The Bus was filled up with people who weren‘t there when we started in Hanoi. There was hardly no space to sit comfi if you are bigger than 160 cm/60 kg. The guide tried their very best, to look after everybodys needs. It was just not possible. I wouldn‘t choose Vietnam Open Tour again.
