The place showcases many old weapons in the modern history of Vietnam, generally those used in the wars. The museum also gave some insights on the history and development of the Vietnamese military. Worth a visit.

The museum exhibits are set in a series of old colonial buildings with fighting equipment set out in the grounds. An interesting insight into military history from the Vietnamese side.

You come to know the History of Vietnam by visiting this Museum. A 20 minute documentary is also showed to get an idea about Vietnam. The weapons used were also displayed along with the photos.

Most of the exhibits don't have a proper explanation. Very, very biased. We just did not like the museum at all.

Some good exhibits of the conflict with the French and the Americans. Naturally part of the fun is to spot some of the biased or subjective descriptions, exhibitions and focus of the Vietnamese but it does work well if you have an open mind!

The exhibition covers the ancient military history to modern Vietnam war. However, not all display has English explanatary note. Better to have some very basic information on the Vietnam history before your visit this museum.
