This is a very old university. Great stories behind all the statues. Take time to find out about them. Has a very Chinese influence. Worth visiting.

There is only one entrance and it's on the south end of the park. I would recommend a guide as there are so many gems to be found.

The day I visited the Temple of Literature there were multiple graduations and a wedding in progress. Lots of free entertainment, music, dancing and even acrobats practicing behind one building. I was there on Monday at mid day and the enterance fee was 30,000. It's worth it, possibly my favorite site in Hanoi. Very beautiful and totally worth it.
