Great experience with the Tour Guide Billy. Billy had good knowledge of Vietnam History, Culture and Vietnamese cuisines. Suggested many cuisines to try out when in Vietnam and the local lingo. His English was very good and clear. We started our tour from Hoi An, so there was fair amount of time on the bus to discuss various other sightseeing places in Hoi An and Na Dang region.
At Ba Na hills there were so many things to see, like Golden Bridge, Nearby Gardens, Buddha Statue and the beauty from the longest cable car was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, even after the weather turned little bit misty (light showers). I think good guide is a must to enjoy the whole trip.

From the beginning, the service was really good. We booked a tour to Sapa with them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They arranged us private and shorter trekkings for our familly (with young kids 9, 7, 5). It was a all inclusive tour and eveything was perfect. And our guide (Tuan) was just best guide ever. He accomodated his pace to our kids, played with them, really took his time to make our treks perfects.

I contacted Indochina Adventures two months before our trip. I also contacted two other agencies at the same time but I got superb service from Indochina since our first contact so they made it easy for me to decide. Kathy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and she helped us plan every detail for every single day of our trip.
My 15 year old son and I wanted to experience Vietnam from top to bottom so, with the help from Kathy and Indochina Adventure, we backpacked our way from Hanoi to Saigon. We traveled in bi motor planes, big motorcycles from Hue to Da Nang, scooters in Saigon, buses all over the country, tuk-tuk in Cambodia, big boat in Ha Long, small canoes in the Mekong, water buffalo in Hoi An, to name just a few... and everything was planned like clockwork: The schedules, great hotel reservations (in perfect locations), transfers, flights, buses, tours, meals, sim cards for our phones, EVERYTHING! We didn’t have to guess or worry about anything which we appreciated very much because sometimes the language barrier made us a little anxious. We got the best of this beautiful country thanks to Indochina Adventures and Kathy. So, If you are up for the ultimate Vietnam adventure, these are the guys to go with.

I generally travel and book most things on my own hunting down all options to ensure both good experience and save bucks! More of a DIY guy. A friend of mine recommened Judy and her agency to me. So picked them basis the recommendation. This was one of the wisest decisions I made as I got a top class experience from Judy and her agency team.

Took three tours from them:

1. Day trip to Ninh Binh

The tour covered a visit to the famous pagoda, followed by a good lunch at some fancy restaurant, kayaking in Ninh Binh, followed by a cycling tour. That was a great start for us in Vietnam and we enjoyed the day and all the activities. Undoubtedly top class tour which was recommended by the Indochina Adventure tour agency.

2. Halong bay cruise

We had specifically asked Judy to give us a party cruise and we definitely were thrilled with the cruise that was recommended for us. Oasis bay party cruise had just got a new cruise and offered great party experience in halong bay. Two days and one night stay was well spent.

Post that Judy even recommended nice cafes and monuments around old quarters for us to hangout.

3. Cu chi tunnels tour

We booked this tour in Hanoi itself basis our good experience with the previous two tours. But somehow due to miscommunication the tour guy didn't turn up at all and we were left stranded in the hostel. What happened next is what really impressed me the most about Indo China adventure travel agency.

We had booked a private tour and the guy completley missed picking us up. Due to a shorter stay at HCMC we had to do the tour the same day and it was scheduled for second half of the day. Judy intervened and got us an alternate arrangement done. As the bus had already left an hour before, the agency arrnaged for a private taxi for us to catch up with their own money. The taxi fare in itself was more than the money we had paid them for the entire tour. So they paid out of their pocket to make up for the loss. They even sent one of their employees to have us dropped till the bus. A big shout out to Ms Tu who accompanied us till the bus. Great work Tu.

All this was done without even we having to ask for it. In fact they were very gracious enough to return the extra money which was collected for a private tour and took only the money for a big group tour.

A special thanks to Judy who co ordinated with us just over WhatsApp and got all the arrangements done. Even Ms Chang was very helpful to us. Thank you ppl for making our stay in Vietnam a very memorable one.

In travel sometimes things go wrong. But it's how an agency manages to handle the situation that differentiates it from the rest.

In short if one needs to have a tension free top class Vietnam experience one need not look beyond Indo China adventure travel agency. Highly recommended this for everyone. Trust them to make it a worthwhile experience for you. Thank you Judy and co!

I found Paul and his staff to be very warm and welcoming. The girls speak English very well and were able to give me a lot of options with different price ranges for a tour of Halong Bay and then transport to Sa Pa.
The 3 day tour of Halong Bay was excellent and I recommend the 3 day option over the 2 day option if you can afford the time.
Both the tour and the transport to Sa Pa, day bus driving up the picturesque mountains, turned out exactly as was described to me when I booked them.
They even printed out my air ticket that I booked on line. Paul is happy to share his wealth of knowledge of Hanoi and the surrounds or just have a chat and coffee.
Thank you Paul and his team.

Thanks to Kathy we had a seamless and almost perfect trips to Sapa and Halong Bay. Due to a family emergency, Kathy was unable to cater to us directly, but she made sure our transportation and accommodation were properly arranged and coordinated, from airport transfer all the way to Sapa and Halong Bay. The train to Sapa was a little bumpy, but we managed to get some rest. Sapa Vista Hotel was simply amazing with extremely beautiful mountain view and close proximity to the Sapa town. One night with Vspirit cruise at Halong Bay was productive with various activities and not too exhausting. Kudos to Kathy and team for arranging such pleasant tours for us. Highly recommended tour agent.

We started in Bangkok taking a boat ride from a pier through the locks that smelled awful with trash dumped in the water and the banks, took an hour and a half to tour through the downtrodden part of town to arrive at Wat Po, (we could have walked the streets from the pier and get there in 5 min). That's what they call the "Canal Ride." The terminology used for every stop evokes beauty and adventure when most of the trip is used to transport you in an overloaded van or cheap boat. The trip that you see with other travel companies travelling the the Mekong ishow beautiful rice paddies and landscape. Our trip was 2 days of a canyon without any change i

Guides are different in their expectations of you. One guide wanted everyone in the lobby exactly at the posted time. He took 1/2 hour to explain what we were doing that day and then loaded luggage. The others got the luggage loaded then spoke to us as we got going.

I wrote the travel scheduler in the US and (having developed a friendly relationship with her), asked "what's with this guy, he's at my door or calling me every single day. I want to slap him up the side of the face." )a well known figure of speech),The email was intercepted and forwarded to the head of operations in Thailand who happened to be Aussie and it was taken very seriously. I was smart to keep my mouth shut during his berating, sexist tirade. I wasn't given any moment to talk. That's ok, I wasn't going to fuel the fire.He offered to pay back the cost of the trip and I could go from there but, who would put themselves in the middle of Laos and wait for the money to come into their bank account? A verbal contract is not a contract. That's a settlement that needs to be done with lawyers. You don't just leave someone in the middle of Laos like that.

This isn't a trip for anyone who has a physical
problem. In that respect, I had explained to the planner what my incapacity (bad knees, very limited ability to walk far). and was told There would be no problem. It was completely oversold to me. I missed lots of the attractions, dinner. Night markets and slept 12-14 hours a night.

When coming back, I was referred to customer service. This gentleman spoke to me for 45 min. I asked him that, with all this time I've taken to let him know of the situation, what was in it for me? He said,"nothing." He looked knew of the Aussie and the only thing he said was, "that should have been handled differently." He then blocks your phone and email address so you cannot contact him anymore.

This is ONLY for people who are physically fit with no problems. It's for a younger or physically fit crowd or people on a strict budget. I met some wonderful people, Sam , our second guide and Mao in Cambodia. Their were people from all over the world who had a great senses of humor and were very seasoned travelers. Take on a roommate at your own risk.

Do your homework to figure out what you want to do in your free time and especially on the company you travel with
