Such an enjoyable afternoon. I learnt so much about Vietnamese food and cooking techniques. Our brilliant chef Ey was great at explaining everything and gave us such an interesting tour of the market. I feel totally confident to make the dishes at home... Thank you!

We were extremely disappointed with this tour and do not think it was value for money (we were charged AUD$80 each). They transported us in taxis that took between 30 to 45 minutes to arrive which meant some of us where sitting at venues waiting...More

The course starts with a walk around the market nearby. That is an experience in itself, seeing the different kinds of rice, vegetables, fish and similar, and learning about eating in Vietnam. The teacher is very clear in showing how to make each dish, and...More

At USD60 this is an expensive class and although I haven’t done any others in Hanoi this seems like at that price it should be freaking amazing. Lovely guy and great cooking instructions but I found the outcome a little disappointing. Of the 5 dishes...More

All the classes will cover the appreciation of VN cuisine. You start out with a market tour and this provides a great explanation of ingredients and techniques. For which class to take look at the description on the web site and see which dish appeals to you most. The dishes each class cooks is listed on their website.

Looking on the internet there seem to be several options for food / hawker tours. Hanoi Cooking Centre seems very popular. Does anyone have a different suggestion. Thanks

Why dont you ask Hanoi Kids, they will organize a food tour for you for free. I bet they know it better than any agent.
