Nice location, bad cocktail
Jan 2020 • Couples
I definitely can’t recommend the „nola cocktail“. It tasted like mouthwash.
Otherwise the location is really nice, so just try to order a different cocktail.

Really nice 'underground like' bar
Jan 2020 • Friends
We walked 3 times past it because the entrance is small. Its a really nice place with lots of corners, wallpaintings, furniture, random stuff. We had some beers. Really nice place.

Art Café
Oct 2019 • Couples
Beautiful Cafe over three or four floors. The interior reminds a little of a literature or art cafe and invites to rest after walking around in Hanoi. Some things are a little pricy though, eg a big bottle of water cost 45.000 Dong.

Hidden bar full of artsy details!
Sep 2019
Tucked away in a small alley between 2 shops, Nola Café is like entering a time capsule back into Indochine-time. Spread over several floors and rooms, you can pick your own nook, couch or terrace to hang and relax in the coolness of this place. Sip on iced coffee or savor a nice fried rice dish. Artworks and wooden furniture in all shapes create a bohemian vibe and when calm, you feel like you are in your own hidden townhouse.

A hidden gem in Hanoi
Jul 2019
If you do not know where to find this lovely cafe, you will not find it. No sign. Old town house with lots of different rooms - lovely decor. We only had drinks but you can eat here as well. If you like special places this is definitely a place to visit.

Hidden gem in old town of Hanoi
Apr 2019 • Business
The entrance is a small alley between many souvenir shop, travel agent and hotels. It’s hard to be noticed. The bar is on the first floor and seating is on second floor. You can get atmosphere of passed day in Vietnam. It is famous place for venue of photo for local. They served Vietnamese food with vegetarian options also. They have good dish of Noodle with beef (dry), don’t know the name. Good venue for gathering with friends, we are there for meeting.

A peaceful location right in the middle of chaos
Dec 2018 • Solo
I just was exploring old coffee shops in Hanoi and someone suggested me this place. As I was driving through the busy street, it took me some time to figure out the exact location of cafe, a small entrance gate. Once you are in, it seems as if you are in a peaceful art gallery. You walk through the reception and then climb up the stairs to reach the second floor. Despite being right in middle of a chaotic market, it was completely silent.

I ordered Egg cafe and few dishes. Food turned out to be equally amazing. It is the overall ambiance of the place that holds you together. If you want to spend some time in silence sitting at a silent corner and reading books, this is the place to go.

Lovely Place.

Great setting, awful food/drinks
Mar 2019 • Couples
We had a late lunch at the Nola Cafe - lovely setting with numerious umbrellas acting as a roof. Splendid little spot, I must say!

The food was rather dreadful though, and the drinks were... well, let me just say that avocado and gelatin do not mix well and cannot be called ‘juice’. It should have been called ‘kind of avocado tasting gloop’.

Quiet Corner on Busy Street
Feb 2019 • Couples
This cafe is lying on one of the busiest street in Hanoi old quarter. With a unique decoration style, it looks a bit mysterious but that is a nice thing :)
