VietnamStay had arranged a private tour based on our itinerary and it covered Hanoi, Halong Bay, Da Nang, Phong Nha Caves & Ho chi Minh City tours.

Excellent arrangements done for transport and hotel stays. Quick responsive staff and very clear communication on the tour itinerary . We felt safe and assured throughout the tour and the friendly tour guides made our visit very memorable.

We highly recommend VietnamStay for a personalized family tour. Thankyou Ton Binh for the wonderful experience

I organised our holiday for 5 people over email and I can't compliment Daisy enough for being so helpful, efficient and professional. All accommodation was great and in the perfect location. We had fun guides and our own minivan in each area of Vietnam. Daisy reorganised our itinerary after a cancelled flight (which was the airline) and upgraded our accommodation in Hoi An. A late request from me saw Daisy arrange a fabulous cooking experience in Hue, which was a highlight. Another highlight was the street food tour in Hanoi (in a jeep). Keep in mind distances between cities, they are probably further than you think.

Based on a list of things we wanted to see, the people from Vietnamstay created a great custom itinerary and suggested great hotels always conveniently located. The service was without doubt the best we ever experienced. All transports were arranged, always on time, with signs with our names at airports, train stations, ... During our stay they were always available through whatsapp for advice when needed. Thanks to Giulia Trieu for all her help. The tour was : Cambodia Angkor Wat, Central Vietnam (Hoi An, Hue) and north Vietnam (Hanoi, Sapa, Halong bay). All the guides provided in each of the locations were great. Special mention for the Angkor Wat guide and woman in Hué.
Also all the adviced hotels were great. Especially the La Siesta hotels in Hanoi and Hoi An and the Silk Path hotel in Sapa. They excelled in customer service.

VietnamStay organized a 17 day “Best of Vietnam” and Cambodia for our family of 6 (14, 18, 49, 49, 76, 76). From Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh, Mekong Delta, Angkor Wat etc. to mention a few😀👍🏻 VietnamStay picked us up at the airport upon arrival to Vietnam from Europe and took care of all travels, tours, hotels, flights and guides when we traveled in Vietnam/Cambodia. Everything was smooth and well planned by Ton Binh. No delays, no surprises and always a good meet and great process in airports. The local guides was of high quality and the hotels was excellent (we had asked for min four star quality). We can strongly recommend VietnamStay to organize your family vacation in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Amazing custom planned family private tour of Northern Vietnam. VietnamStay did a fantastic job of tailoring a tour to our tastes and to suit our 4 children aged 14 to 7. Itinerary included train to Hanoi city tour, Sapa, Halong Bay and village stay. All guides were excellent. Accomodation and transfers were of a very high standard.
Highly recommended.

We had an idea of the itinerary we wanted to follow, which i then sent to VietnamStay. Xuan then contacted us and helped us arrange our tour package, consistently advising us along the way i there was a better way of doing things and which hotels to stay in based on our requireents. Xuan always immediately answered any emails or queries we had, in fact we made a significant change to the tour, just a week before we were due to fly out. This was no trouble for Xuan to amend. More importantly, we are all vegetarian and one of us followed the jain diet, this information was given to Xuan, and he ensured there were no issues with us getting food based on our diet in all the tours where a meal was included.
Also i would like to give a special mention to one of our tour guides, his name is Huie. He was absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable, friendly, always happy to answer our questions, and really went of his way to ensure we were always comfortable as there was quite a bit of travelling involved. He was always a joy to be around.
All in all would highly recommend vietnamstay if your looking for a company to organise your trip.

It was our first time to travel to Southeast Asia. Our travel time was 20 days, starting in Hanoi then traveled to Hoi An, Saigon, Siem Reap, Bangkok and the last 6 days we spend in Phuket relaxing before heading home. Our agent Jessi Le did an amazing job putting our tour together, she selected our hotels which were always in the best locations and had pools including. She arranged all our tour guides, flight tickets and taxi rides to and from airport. It was the most organized trip that we never had. Jessi, was helpful from the beginning to the end of our trip. When I had a question I would send her a message per WhatsApp and she would respond instantly with an answer. Jessi, went out of her way to always make us happy, she made our trip easy and enjoyable. I can highly recommend Vietnamstay.
We will definitely return again.

We booked with Vietnam Stay our quick 6-day trip through Vietnam and Cambodia. The tips for various hotel options, the transfers and guided tours, internal flights and experiences were awesome.

The service rendered has been great and Nicolas arranged for good guides and perfect cars for transfers with very good Spanish level (guides).

The budget we had has been accomplished and the recommendations for visits were also very interesting.

If you are searching for a local based Tour operator, this is one you surely can trust on!!

I normally like to do my own thing when organising an overseas trip but insome countries it is advisable to make use of the knowledge of a local travel agent.
Aurora Travel did just that for us on our recent Vietnamese trip. We visited Hanoi, Sapa, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Mui Ne and finally Saigon. If you are travelling all that way it is worth seeing as much of the country as possible as they were all unique. The food in Vietnam was a gourmet's delight. Vietnam Airlines were clean and efficient and all the hotels we stayed in were top class. The drive to Halong Bay from Hanoi is long (about 4 hours) but staying two nights on a junk in the bay is worth the drive! We picked Indo China Company and they were excellent. Mt Pham Tuyen at Aurora was on the ball and everything was dealt with immediately by e-mail. I can recommend this company without reservation.

We have recently returned from our holiday in Vietnam and Cambodia put together by VietnamStay. I originally contacted VietnamStay following reviews I read on TripAdvisor and I would like to thank all those who took time to write these. We had an idea of what we wanted to do and Mr Hao put together a customised itinerary for us, which included internal flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, breakfasts and some lunches/dinners, - just perfect for our stay. We were provided with 1:1 tour guides, all of whom spoke excellent English, and our own driver for all our tours throughout our stay in both Vietnam and Cambodia. The communication we had with VietnamStay prior to arriving was excellent and we received calls and communication during and following our tour to check that we didn’t have any problems and we were happy with our holiday. The itinerary was carefully put together to ensure we experienced the place, people and culture, and we had such an enjoyable and hassle-free trip.

We commenced our tour in Hanoi, having been provided with a stamped letter and instructions by VietnamStay to gain a visa at the border we were then met by a driver who took us to our hotel. We enjoyed sightseeing which included some walking and some driving to points of interest, and an introduction to Vietnamese Pho in the Old Quarter’s best café. Our two night cruise on Halong Bay on the Dragon Legend Cruise was a highlight. We travelled to Ninh Binh Province and were taken on a rowing boat through King Kong Skull Country which was fascinating. Our favourite part of the tour has to be Hoi An – it is a beautiful old town surrounded by rich farmland and rice fields. If you are wanting to have quality tailored suits, shirts and dresses – and leather bags and shoes made – make sure you stay at least a couple of nights so you can organise this on your first day and enjoy the surroundings. VietnamStay booked us into a cooking class at the Red Bridge Restaurant and School which involved a trip to the market, cruise on the river to the school and an entertaining demonstration and hands-on creation of our food for lunch. We also did cycle and vespa tours of the region – lots of fun, and once again the 1:1 tour guide and vespa drivers (compared to groups of 20+ which we came across) made the tour so much more enjoyable as a lot of the places you visit are quite small. From Hoi An we went to Hue via the coast road which would have been absolutely spectacular if it hadn’t rained! The Citadel Temple at Hue was well worth the visit. From Hue we flew to Ho Chi Minh City and spent time with my son who lives there. We took a speed boat trip up river to the Cu Chi tunnels and the following day visited the War Remnants Museum – which were very sobering experiences… tragic actually! What have we learned – a lot of these atrocities are still happening or are being threatened to happen again (chemical warfare) today!
VietnamStay provided us with airport transfers to and from my son’s house and we flew to Siem Reap. We were given clear instructions on how to obtain a visa at the border, met and taken to our hotel. We were awed by the temple visits, enjoyed our Aspasara dinner in a local restaurant, and spent a day with Husk (an NGO aid organisation) in a countryside village where we discovered local customs, and learned about the wonderful programmes put in place to improve the lives of the people, including a delicious Khmer lunch prepared for us by a family. This tour was followed by a visit to Tonle Sap Great Lake where we visited floating villages.

You do feel anxious recommending a service before trying it out, but young friends of ours were planning a trip to Vietnam at the same time as us and I put them on to VietnamStay (we are a young couple in our 60’s and they in their 20's!). We met up with them Siem Reap and they were enjoying their tour – they had quite different experiences, and I appreciate that VietnamStay takes the requirements of each group to make an interesting and individualised itinerary. We are planning further visits to Vietnam and I will definitely be contacting Mr Hao again.
