In view of the different places on the Vietnam Spirit website, we have chosen the destinations and types of experiences we sought. With great responsiveness, Nga prepared a program that met our expectations: both cultural and authentic, nights with locals, hiking in the countryside and rice fields, cycling, boating, Ha Long Bay cruises and on the Mekong (3 days 2 nights is a minimum to fully experience the excursion). Everything was varied and full of new experiences (cuisine, massages, meetings...). We appreciated her recommendations and her precise responses by email. The hotels offered, the drivers and cars were perfect in traffic that was confusing to say the least for Europeans! Our 3 successive German-speaking guides were very endearing and very professional (Tony, Phuc and Linda) and left us with very beautiful memories of Vietnam. We were there for 2 weeks in December, little sun, pleasant temperatures (expect polar evenings in the North), a little rain in Hoi An. Fewer tourists which is appreciable for tours with guides. We highly recommend Vietnam Spirit travel, very reliable with a very professional sense of customer service. Thank you Nga for organizing this beautiful trip! Thanks to our guides!

We traveled for 20 days in October/November 2023 with Vietnam Spirit Travel and it was an extraordinary trip, fantastic country and above all Vietnam Spirit who masterfully organized this trip for us. We have been followed since our first contact by Mr Huy Hwang, who cordially and very professionally, after various discussions, was able to personalize this trip so that it perfectly corresponded to our requests.
The initial schedule was respected in all respects, with top professional guides and drivers, very well-located, clean and pleasant hotels and restaurants whose menus introduced us to local dishes that we greatly appreciated (and which we certainly would not have discovered on our own). We traveled from Hanoi through Hue, Hoi An, Saigon, Mekong and finished in Siemreap, Mr Huy followed us throughout the trip to check that everything was going as smoothly as possible and he was even able to deal with major unforeseen events, even on public holidays, reorganizing the schedule and the guides following fanciful schedule changes.
To summarize, we really recommend their services which deserve your trust and will help you discover the best of their fabulous country.

Outstanding tour, communication from Huy leading up to the tour was prompt and clear.
The tour itself was well planned and ran like 'clock work' from start to finish.
The tour guides and drivers were fantastic, and very helpful.
The hotels chosen were generally well positioned lessening the need for taxi's etc.
The internal flights organised with Vietnam air were on time and the staff were excellent.
I would highly recommend this company for travel to Vietnam and Cambodia.

We had only 2 days in Hanoi and wanted something organized but avoid group tours, we wanted to see as much as possible and Vietnam Spirit Travel allowed me to do it. We made 2 tours combined in the one day and everything was just excellent and beyond our expectation, we visited snake village and tried snake wine, our guide were very informative and helped us communicate with people in the village, telling us about history and culture of Vietnam, and the trip to Perfume pagoda was also very nice, boat trip on the river was spectacular, local people are very friendly, we had lunch at a small shrine and went up the mountain to the cave, the sight was incredible, very asian, very rural, we were very happy, A never to be forgotten day. We would definitely use this company when we come back again in November and highly recommend Vietnam Spirit travel to others.

Huy organised an amazing south to north holiday including all the standard stops and some of the other things that were important for us to see. He was very flexible and took care of the small details. Example: after the overnight train back from Sa Pa and before the shuttle bus to Ha Long bay we were booked in to a hotel near the Ha Noi train station for three hours for a shower, sleep and a buffet breakfast. This is the small details that we really appreciated.
There were some occasions where Huy had to change arrangements after the tour had commenced because of the mobility issues with one person in our travel party. These changes were always quick and considerate.
I will gladly have Huy organise tours for all my family and friends. I can't recommend him enough.

Our family travelled in 3 weeks to Vietnam and with Vietnam Spirit Travel, and we I enjoyed from beginning to end. I still have a head full of memories and heart filled with happiness. Vietnam spirit travel has put together an itinerary very interesting and diverse excursions, which we have discoveries and experiments. We had a good idea of local life and work of people in big cities and the countryside; we used means of transportation as unusual as rickshaw (in the traffic in Hanoi!), Junk and sampan, we known taste experiences more enjoyable. spirit travel's outstanding guides in Vietnam allowed us to learn more about the history and present of his country, the habits and customs of its inhabitants by region and ethnic and religious influences, as well as its future prospects. The few days in Cambodia were also very interesting.

From the very first contact with Huy, when we made our first tentative inquiries regarding the tour we were met nothing but professionalism, courtesy, efficiency and great advice. Our tour commenced in Hanoi and despite a considerable delay at arrivals due to the non-arrival of our bags, we were greeted as promised and taken to a great hotel right in the middle of the Old Quarter. The guided tours throughout the trip were fantastic with local knowledge underpinning the dialogue which was sometimes humorous, at other times serious but always engaging. The hotels were some of the best we have stayed in. Friendly staff, great locations and good breakfasts all compounding to make each stop a terrific experience. It is difficult to pick out highlights when every part of the trip was so incredibly good - overnight at Halong Bay, the beauty of Hoi An, or the inspirational people of Cambodia. Thank you to Huy and his team for helping to make the trip faultless at every juncture. We would highly recommend Vietnam Spirit Travel and look forward to a return visit.

Person you could ever have to arrange a private tour of Vietnam. We were there for a week with our 9 year old daughter. Huy packed in over night train rides to Sapa where we trecked though the picture perfect rice fields, cycle tours of Hanoi, mini overnight cruise on Halong Bay which included kayaking, swimming in the beautiful Halong Bay and exploring the enormous caves, and believe it or not we still had time to relax and shop all in a week. You couldn't wish for a better and understanding tour organiser. Finally the value for money was incredible considering it was 90% just the 3 of us and a guide! I wish I could speak more highly of Huy and his team...they simply are incredible.

We actually booked with their Sapa trading name Sapa Adventure Tours. The overall company is owned by 5 former guides who have developed their own tour business - so they know what they are doing "on the ground"
The guy I dealt with by email was very clear, and was the same person who met us at a local Hotel in Hanoi on the day, where we were able to store our bags for the day after arriving from Hoi An, which left us free to walk around town for the afternoon. He recommended Livitrans as next best after the more expensive Victoria carriages.
We had booked a full 4 berth for just two of us for comfort as we are mature travelers - and requested a cabin mid-carriage, to avoid noise from the bogeys (wheel sets at each end). This was done as requested.
Pham met us at the hotel, put us in a taxi, followed us to the station on his scooter, then stayed with us about 45 minutes until our vouchers were converted to train tickets, our return journey needs were clarified and he had placed us safely in our carriage - after helping carry our suitcases across the several railway tracks to the right train.
We had asked him to book/hire a car direct off of the train on the Sunday morning, so we could go directly from Lao Cai station to the weekly Bac Ha market before the bigger tour groups arrive from Sapa 45 minutes away from Lao Cai. He recommended paying an extra US$20 for a Hmong guide who spoke English. We eventually accepted this after asking a few questions.
OH so glad we did. The young lady Mao became the star of our entire Sapa stay. We further booked her for day trekking.
I found the company to be professional, diligent and courteous. Any worries we had about booking online with a small company were completely allayed.

We made one of the best trips of our lives and we are not exaggerating in saying so ...I do not know how to describe what we liked but my husband and I are back on the high quality of the services, such as the organization of the different resources put to use (transport, guides, drivers, cars, hotels, tours, quality of meals ..) Stay on the Bhaya Junk was divine as the food offered by the hospitality of the crew. The scenery is breathtaking and the contact with the inhabitants of the sea very warm.
Sapa with Dung was also a highlight to see a few races as colorful as each other. We really enjoyed sharing with our guide another aspect of Vietnamese culture. Nha Trang was a bit quieter because we had rain ... but we took the opportunity to rest and get some massages. Ho Chi Minh and the Mekong River was also a very interesting field experience. Bich our guide, like Dung, exchanged a lot with us so that we understand this part of the country and how people live there. It was a very great art. I forgot the Halong Bay on land with Mr. Hai we also enjoyed.
