We loved Halong Bay and the caves. We took a trip 2 days 1 night. More than enough. I'm not sure kids would be so excited. I think it's more for adults. in hANOI the night markets and craft shops etc are very nice. Generally the city is very crowded and very very dirty. I'm so very happy I didn't... More

If you have limited time, go to Halong Bay by seaplane from Hanoi, this only take you just 45 minutes rather than 4 hours. And your flight can be extended to include an additional 15- minute scenic tour over the bay. Also, I think you even don't have to take 1 night in here, there are many cruise offer just... More

I decided for the one day tour since we were short in time, however is like 3 hours driving each way. No matter that is 175 kilometers away the road is either crowded or in bad condition or under repair. I made a mistake in my trip and the first stop was in Phuket and we went in a boat... More

We went on a pre booked 1 night cruise on paradise 2 hosted by Natalia. Firstly we had an amazing time, the trip was expertly organised and the boat was wonderful, room small as you would expect but was so very comfy with everything you need. The food was fantastic and beautifully prepared and served. The off boat experiences were... More

My partner and I were in Hanoi for a few days and decided to spend one of these days doing a day trip to Halong Bay. We weren't disappointed. There are a few things to take into consideration though: Even though Halong Bay is only about 165 kilometres from Hanoi, it takes about 4 hours to get there and 4... More

Pack your sunscreen and enjoy a fun day afloat on Halong Bay. Numerous groups offer day and multi day cruises which visit the craggy islands, caves, beaches and villages around this very picturesque bay. Most boats offer food and drink aboard and have full facilities. Have a wonderful day.

You should not miss this trip. Amazing and a lot of interesting view and activities. I recommend to go for cursing of 2 days to enjoy the view and the activities. We went with La Pardise luxury boat. Was great. Nice rooms with balcony and toilet. The bed is comfortable. The crew was professional and on time. Very friendly. The... More

When planning my trip to Vietnam I was very indecisive between spending one or two days in Halong Bay. We decided to go on a one day trip with Wati Travel and it was the best decision. Vic, our tour guide, was funny and explained us interesting things about Vietnamese culture during the car trip, which made it enjoyable. Once... More

We travelled by a very comfortable bus by road. It had free wifi. On way stopped at a place which had huge complex for making handicraft items and carving statues. It also had good eating joint. Our tour guide was very warm and helpful person. Once you reach the Halong bay it gives fantastic view. You have large number of... More

We used LaFairy Sails worth a look. The room was excellent with a small balcony separate en-suite and big bed. We took the two day and one night tour with the dinner in one of the caves. The guide spoke three languages, including French, Vietnamese and English and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The ship was medium sized and carried... More
