Booked for a 2 days 1 night trip. It was very high standard service and facilities. The room I stayed had a good view and was very steady to have a good sleep. The shower facility was also very good. Food was excellent, particularly dinner buffet, and the manager, David Chen did absolutely a great job. He looked after every... More

I have been on a number of the junk boats cruising Halong Bay but the trip on one of the Indochina Sails boats was certainly the best. The rooms were large and comfortable, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful during the duration of the cruise. Apart from just lazing around there was the chance... Well we are a couple in honeymoon and we did the 3 days 2 nights cruize. We liked it overall but it is not a 5 star cruize or a luxury cruize like it is advertised and like we pay for! It is very expensive for what you get but you can be sure what get is good. The staff... More

I spent one night and two days with Indochina Sails and it is a great way to see Ha Long Bay. We were staying at the Sofitel Plaza so were able to benefit from a free transfer from the hotel to the boat, but I recommend hiring your own car service. The minibus driver we got was extremely slow (we... More

We spent one night and 2 days on this lovely boat. The staff and owner of the boat were fantastic...everyone was so friendly and helpful. The boat was gorgeous....beautiful timbers everywhere. But the highlight for me...apart from our stunning destination (Halong Bay)...was the beautiful vegetarian foods made available to me. My carnivore companions were envious! Our tour guide was wonderful...he... More

We took a 2 day, overnight cruise with Indochina Sails on a recent trip to Vietnam. The trip was organised via our hotel in Hanoi and my wife and I found this a great trip. The service was excellent from the collection at the hotel through to the greeting and service on the cruise. The food was of a high... More

My wife and I decided last minute to add a Halong Bay overnight cruise to our two week Vietnam/Cambodia trip. To be honest, I was questioning if a 3.5hr transfer each way from Hanoi was worth it..... The result was great! I was pleasantly surprised when we were taken to our vessel, which for us was the 'Valentine'. The accommodation... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day 2 night cruise and all our activities. Our tour manager David Chen made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot in board. The hostesses were also excellent at ensuring our needs were always met one hostess called 'Ha' on our ship was particularly good. Our favourite part of the trip was the... More

We only spent one night on the Indochina Sails boat (as part of a package tour), but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The boat was like a floating 4* hotel and the staff were fabulously courteous and helpful at all times. The food was great and the service was excellent, we had dinner and breakfast onboard (plus drinks of course!),... More

We went on the 3 day, 2 night trip and had a fabulous time. As a group of 19, handspan travel were brilliant and booked the entire boat just for us. The food was fantastic and the boat crew and our tour guide Phu were really friendly and always happy to help (despite our late nights and early mornings!). Halong... More
