We booked two private day tours with Vietnam Awesome Travel and I’d thoroughly recommend the company. Anh was extremely quick and helpful in responding to my queries about booking trips for when we were in Hanoi. He was our guide for the first one whereby with a driver he promptly picked up at out hotel and gave us a tour of the city - stopping at sites such as prominent temples, Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum complex, ‘Hanoi Hilton’ prison and Vietnam’s first university. We had a great day with Anh, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and took us to a nice place for lunch.
For the second trip, Anh arranged a private car for us to join a day long boat tour at Halong Bay. We enjoyed a pleasant trip taking in stunning scenery and stopping at expansive caves. The included lunch on board the boat was also extremely tasty and plentiful.

After a fun night doing the Street Food Tour in Hanoi with Awesome Travel we reached out to Mr Anh to go and visit the Perfume Pagoda and Dong Huong cave. It turned out to be a fantastic day. Anh was a perfect guide, learning us about Vietnam and answering all our questions. The cave and temple were amazing. Anh also arranged a dinner at a restaurant inside the site and the food was delicious.

What a great experience. I asked that we avoid typical tourist places and concentrate on places the locals go. Tom, a terrific guide, made that happen. We ventured outside the central city into areas where the only tourist was me. 😉 This was an exceptional tour, highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I landed in Hanoi and Anh took me to his lovely home for the accommodation, the bedroom was spacious. We then had lunch a long the river and had some fun with karaoke and traditional Vietnamese supper. Anh was very patient and helped with changes that I needed, he was very quick at responding.
Highly recommend him.

Booked the bike tour for my family. Contacted Anh through WhatsApp. He was very clear and helpful to help me choose the tour and with the payment process. My family really enjoyed the bike tour, they felt really as ease and safe with the drivers. One of them who is also the guide showed them a lot of places around Hanoi and they like the coffee break and bun cha. I highly recommend booking with them, you won't be disappointed!!

Or Food on Foot tour in Hanoi with Ha was great. We are delicious food and learnt a lot about life in Hanoi. Ha was excellent company, informative and a pleasure to be around.

Well organized tour with the cruise stopping at a large natural cavern, a cove where monkeys are the main attraction, and a small. Island with beach. The guides are fun and professional to enjoy the sunset in a party environment. Had a great time for a long day trip

We did the private Halong Bay 1 day tour with Vietnam Awesome Travel Company.
I travelled with my mother who is 86 yrs old & wheelchair dependent. With my son & his family, which include my 6 yrs old grand daughter.
Mr Tom was our tour guide. It was perfect. He is very helpful, knowledgeable & friendly.
All the staff in the boat, the cook, the lady (sorry, I forgot her name) were all helpful in carrying my mother board the boat.
The lunch served is so fresh, includes diff vegetables, fish, shrimps, etc. Are all deliciously cooked.
It was such an unforgettable boat ride. The view is amazing! Postcard perfect!
Vietnam Awesome Travel did not dissapoint us. The tour was a good one. Higly recommended.

I have never met anyone like our tour guide, Cong Anh Kieu. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for his kindness, hospitality and the knowledge he shared with us during the three days we spent in Hanoi. He really went beyond our expectations. It was simply AMAZING!!!

I want to visit vietnam. I have seen very good reviews for "vietnam awesome travel" agency. However, last year I was scammed by a "well recommended" agency in Nepal and I lost all my confidence... Can you give me more information about your experience with "vietnam awesome travel" so that I can feel a little more confident (did you only contacted them by mail? do you have a contact email for a specific person in there? did you have to pay them in advance? Did all went well regarding payment, etc.?)

We have used this company twice. In 2015 we booked and payed all our trips through email before we arrived in Hanoi with no problems. In 2018 we went to their agency and booked our trips and payed them personally. On both occasions everything went perfectly.

I'm looking into a Groupon trip to Vietnam wondering if anybody's ever use Groupon to go to Vietnam and if so how did that work out any issues with lodging or transportation or your flight with a Groupon voucher

I do not know anything about the groupons but I arranged my trip on my own using a travel book and trip advisor. I was able to find lots of deals and all of the hotels and activity providers were awesome about communicating through email. In this way I was able to customize it to our schedule and interest. Sorry I couldn't respond about groupons but if you decide not to travel using them know that it is relatively easy to set up on your own. Good luck. We had an amazing trip. Ps. Watch Anthony Bourdains Parts Unknown on Hanoi. It was spot on!

Hello. My teenage son and I will arrive at Hanoi airport at 4.30am as part of our transit flight to Sydney. Our next flight will leave at 4pm the same day. Taking off 2hours for inbound immigration and 2hours to check back in, we will have approx 7 hours to take a tour of Hanoi. Is this something you would recommend....is it safe?? And what trip would you recommend? Thanks Rachel.

Yeah it's very safe.
I would get a cab to downtown and walk around. I would head to the French quarter and the old town, look around the lake and the temple, take some time for lunch.

I have a family of 5 adults and would like to book a Private Halong Bay Sailing Cruise from Hanoi on 22nd Dec.
We will be staying near West Lake and do not wish to have any shopping stops during our trip . My wife has bad knees and we would prefer a sailboat to a Chinese Junk for the cruise .
Please let us have your proposed activities and tentative timing for the day trip .

A lot of hotels (if you're staying in one) accommodate bookings for tours even the day before. Better make sure to contact your preferred travel agency or ask your hotel management just in case.

Hi,
I would recommend going to Hanoi and taking a one day tou to Halong Bay. Although ideally you would take the overnight tour on Halong Bay. When you get back in the evening, take a walking street food tour in downtown Hanoi.
