We travelled as a family of six and had three rooms that were all quite spacious and good facilities. The boat itself is a little rustic but we enjoyed the character and style of the boat and because it can only accommodate 20 people it gives it a more relaxed approach. The food was fantastic, especially if you like fish... More

We spent two nights aboard the Victory Star and, after reading some of the reviews, were pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice with a huge bathroom (with shower & jacuzzi bath) and comfortable bed and our own private balcony. The staff were helpful friendly and honest, my husband left his wallet in the room after check out and was... More

Halong Bay was much bigger than expected - it goes on for miles! The trip was great with the continual changing of the scenery , peace and lovely time to relax on deck. The food was really good and the service likewise. The short trips we took to visit caves , fishing villages and the beach were just fine. I´d... More

From the moment we were collected in Hanoi it was plain sailing. The trip down in the mini bus was good and then from the moment the staff take care of you at Halong Bay you are looked after. Quan was our guide and dealt with all queries. He was fabulous and made the trip such fun. Cabins are lovely,... More

This is my second trip with this company and although they were obliging, the staff on board were sour and unfriendly. We had a seafood meal on board which was plentiful and tasty but the service was poor. Plate literally thrown on the table, then to tidy up the 'waitress' pulled the table cloth toward her to gather the crockery... More

The rooms were fine, the boat was clean enough. Halong Bay is lovely, but my experience was clouded by the staff on The Victory. They were extremely nice, but the service was painfully slow and we didn't do any of the things that we were told we would do when we booked the trip. Meals came out one item at... More

We went on a 2 day cruise around Halong Bay. The boat was QN3898. No where can I find any internal pictures like the cabin we stayed in. Although just about adequate for 1night I expected something better after viewing all the cabins on line for various boats of theirs. I feel to have been mislead. There was just room... More

Our family of 4 took an overnight cruise in Halong Bay. Beautiful scenery, mostly terrific food, fine service. We had a great time. The rooms were simple and comfy and the scenery was undeniably amazing. Two caveats: the scheduled activities (cave, beach, hidden lagoon) were a bit rushed and definitely exactly what all the other tourists were doing (but still... More

We booked a 3 day 2 night cruise through Best Price Vietnam bookings and chose the Victory Star ship which we were very happy with. We spent the 30th and 31st on Halong Bay and found both the staff and boat great. The cabin was roomy with a double bed and large bathroom, as well as a private balcony and... More
