We spent a fascinating and relaxed morning exploring the streets of the Old Quarter and the French Quarter of Hanoi with our friendly guides, Huy and Linh. Not only were they very accommodating to our interests but knowledgeable about the history and culture as well as recommending certain specialty food items and introducing us to some delicious coconut and rice... We had a wonderful time with two university students, Haoanh and Dinh Trung with HanoiKis Tour. Despite the fact that we arrived almost 2 hours late due to our delayed flight, they patiently waited for us and took us around as soon as we arrived at the hotel. Their English was excellent and we had so much fun, and laughter.... More

We enjoyed a half day walking tour with our lovely guides Stacey & Nora. We visited the Temple of Literature & Hoa Lo prison and had our best lunch in Vietnam with them at Nha Hang Dac Kim - what a true "local" lunch experience. The girls were very knowledgeable on Vietnam history and spoke excellent English. We would highly... More

I had a nice time with April (my guides English name), a college student, we quickly realized that we had some things in common. Her English was fantastic and shes very smart! She was prompt in picking me up and we went to our 1st destination- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum- there she provided with an array of information about Vietnam's... More

My fiancée and I were lucky enough to squeeze into a last minute tour of the Literature Temple and the old prison of Hanoi. Link and Thanh, our young guides, were simply amazing: friendly and knowledgable! They took us afterwards for lunch (amazing local food from central Vietnam) and for egg coffee. If we could we would have asked for... More

I highly recommend HanoiKids as the best way to get to know Hanoi and its wonderful people. We booked a half day tour and another full day tour. Our guides (Huy, Mai and Tim) were all so friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. They were very accommodating to our interests and needs.

We were able to tour around with tour college-aged girls to the Temple of Literature and the Hoa Lo Prison- and afterwards they took us to their favorite coffee shop (Cong) for coconut coffee, which seriously was one of the best things we ate or drank on the trip! It was really fun to talk to the girls about their... More

We booked a half-day tour with Hanoi Kids, and had a great experience. The tours with these exceptional university students are free - you pay only for the expenses and can provide an optional donation to Hanoi Kids. Our guide,Tino, was intelligent, well-informed and fun. She introduced us to authentic Hanoi pho and the best Vietnamese coffees, and showed us... More
