But in a good way, it seems at times all the traffic, and mobile vendors descend on the roundabout come square, especially at night, when it comes alive with , sound, light and endless activity

We started our Hop On and Off Bus at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square. It was one of the landmarks in Hanoi, you will not miss it because it is near the Hoan Kiem Lake.

This is a lively part of Hanoi with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and other restaurants.
The buildings are all colonial, from times of French rule, so they are much more attractive and far better built than other places in Hanoi.
A hustling and bustling area!

Every city has an area like this where shopping, restaurants, bars and everything in-between resides. The square is decent and it quite busy during the evening. It is worth the visit while you are in Hanoi.

Great place to come at night where everything came alive around the square. I would recommend you to dine at any restaurants located around the square to have a good view of the square.

Located on the banks of Hoan Kiem Lake, I thought it was a busy place to visit, but it was safe to cut through the square as it was closed to vehicles on weekends.
In addition, there were many cafes and restaurants in the area, and we could take a full break on the terrace seats of the cafe overlooking the square.
