During the trip from Hanoi to Halong somewhere all tourists (also many other buses) were dropped at the same place to buy too expensive souvenirs and food. The crew couldn’t speak English very well and behaved a bit strange, it seemed to much rehearsed and the sense of humor didn’t level with the guests. Besides the schedule was very strict, less time to relax by yourself. The rooms were clean and the view was nice. But the program was included more sailing than we actually did. The kayak trip was ok, went to beach to have a swim, but it was the only beach in the shadow so it was too cold for a swim. After kayaking we stayed with many other boats in the same area instead of sailing further to the overnight place (as the schedule showed). The second day we went to a small cave, together with many other tourists. Wasn’t worth it. We were very soon back in the harbor where we waited during lunch and demonstration how to make springrolls and cut flowers from vegetables. After filling in the feedbackforms the guide directly read the feedback which felt a bit awkward. Still Halong Bay is very beautiful and We were (fortunately!) very lucky with the weather. And the food was very good. A cruise needs more focus on this amazing nature. Which may be hard to find a nice company.

As the old story goes about the Vietnamese Dragons, the paradise looks like God's had visited this place. The astonishing journey amongst the Rocky island in this beautiful cruise will give you a splendid experience. Enjoy kayaking in your afternoon leisure and squid 🦑fishing after dinner. This company will provide you with ultimate activities and food(including veg) and they abide by proper timings.

Thank you to our driver Anh, who picked us up from our hotel in Hanoi and conveyed us to the office in Halong. From here we were greated by Duc our tour guide for the two days. He was friendly, informative and good fun during the whole tour including when we took part in kayaking, cookery demonstration and vegetable carving. All the staff on the boat work very hard. The rooms are adequate for the one night you are here and have their own en suite etc. All the food during the cruise was excellent and exceeded our expectations. On the way to and from the bay we stopped at the midway point for a toilet break and refreshments if needed. There was a workshop there where second generation children of people effected by agent orange work and you could purchase items if desired. Overall we had a lovely 2days and it was nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.
