We were a family of 7 on this group day cruise. Pick up was prompt. We had a stop along the way at a very modern rest stop area (for restroom, food, stretch). The stop at Hospital Cave was extremely eye-opening. Ha Long Bay in December had mist, which made if more magical. We canoed and had a swimming stop. The water was clean. The water was a little cold for Texans, but that did not stop people from jumping in to swim. Some of the young people on the ship started an impromptu dance party, and the staff was very accommodating by providing them with music from a sound system. The scenery is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend a day cruise as a perfect balance of tour experience and budget, and I highly recommend Arcady's itinerary.

Henry is a great guide. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Vietnamese, he really captures his audience well. His enthusiasm is infectious and he is patient as well. Hope to get Henry again on a future tour. In terms of the cruise itself there were 3 activities: cave exploration, kayaking/row boating, and a cliff hike. Left Hanoi around 9am and back home around 830 pm. Lunch and snacks were included.

We spent 1 night 2 days cruise at Arcady cruise in Halong bay and had a good experience overall. Pickup from Old town was on time, guide Hein was helpful, friendly and informative, luxurious transfer to the harbour. Luggage and checkin was managed effectively. We were located on 2nd floor with balcony overlooking the harbour and bay. Room was decent size though cleanliness can be improved a bit. Staff was helpful but despite informing about dietary preferences well in advance hardly and vegetarian options in the meals which was disappointing. Our room was right below dining area and there was too much noise from people going up and down and noise from Karaoke and shouting till late at night.
Cruise also involved few excursions and activities in the bay but they could have been managed better, the tender boat was small and couldn’t accomplish all the people and required multiple trips to and fro from cruise boat and we just wasted time waiting for the guide and everyone to arrive. Kayaking in bay at morning was wonderful though ideally we needed a bit more time to just relax and enjoy the cruise. It felt a bit rushed with activities. We were late for Titopisland and couldn’t enjoy the hike or sunset and again waited a long time for the tender boat. At $310 it wasn’t very enriching experience and expected to be better managed. More than half of 2nd day was wasted in checkout, waiting for the tender, boat, and waiting for shuttle bus. They do provide drinking water refill in cruise which is good.

“I found this company when I saw it on YouTube ad. So I went to their website to ask them for more information about Halong Bay tour 1 day. I loved everything about my trip! Excellent Service, Amazing Staff, Tasty Food, Wonderful Environment! My trip started off great with the picking up me at My hotel- Family Hanoi Hotel on time. All staffs of Arcady Travel suppported me anytime with fun and enthusiasm and all members of staff on the cruise gave us an unforgettable holiday , the team arranged everything perfectly for us. we always feel so warm and welcome from them. I recommend this cruise to everyone who wants to stay in HaLong Bay! Not just the cruise itself are amazing, its the staff makes everything perfect!”

I did the HaLong Bay Arcady Cruise with Henry, and our group loved him so much! He’s incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The transport was clean, picked us right up from our hotel, and included two stops along the way. The cruise itself was fantastic. Henry continued being an amazing guide on the boat as well, giving us information about the cruise, the area, and keeping us all safe and accounted for. Highly recommend this cruise and request Henry if you can!

the trip is perfectly organised with Lucy our guide professionally taking care about everything.. She speaks perfect english and know everything inside out. Driver was driving very safely and the luxury bus is comfortable with air condition and WI-FI. The boat took us to amazing Halong Bay where we could admire this wonder of the nature, swim, sun bath kayaking and visit wonderful large cave. The food was nice with good choice of different dishes also for vegetarians. I highly recommend this trip. Well done!

I booked Arcady's tour on Klook APP for around 1700 New Taiwan Dollars. The tour included visits to 2~3 islands, a lunch, and transportation from Hanoi to Halong Bay. Overall, it was reasonably priced, though the schedule felt a bit rushed. I took the tour on September 19, 2023, and I must say that Ms. Lucy, our guide, was incredibly reliable, friendly, and capable of quickly assisting the group members.
I would like to give a five-star rating to our guide Lucy and the driver, while the tour itself deserves a 4-star rating (out of a total of five stars).

Did a 3days/2nights trip and it was perfect!
We weee glad we chose this option (even if it’s more expensive) because it gives you time to relax and enjoy the Ha Lang Bay to its fullest !
Boat was good, clean and service is great. The food is good and they are not cheap with the portions.

Thank you so much to Henry, he was the best tour guide and the nicest person we have met in Vietnam. He gave us such good stories on the bus on the way to the Bay, and made it such an amazing experience. He helped us with everything and made our day have no stress. He is honestly so so amazing! I would recommend his tours to anyone and if anyone gets the chance they should attend one of his tours. Thanks once again to Henry, he went above and beyond to help us get to Ninh Binh after our bus has already gone, he is a true angel and he deserves a serious raise. 10/10 🙏🙏🙏

Henry was a great guide, knowledgeable and funny. The accomodations were convenient and comfortable. Ha Long Bay was truly gorgeous, and thanks to the Vietnam climate it wasn't unpleasantly cold, even with overcast and in the evening.

What should we wear on this trip? Do we need sweaters? Will it be cold tomorrow?

In the hot weather You should bring swimming suite, hat, sunglasses, sun cream, sandal is fine for this trip.
If the weather be cold you should bring Jacket, Sweaters, Shoes will be better than sandal.
The cold weather in the bay begin from January to March.
