This is a beautiful old traditional home, well preserved, with some good information on traditional living. Lovely little tranquil stop in amongst the busy city. Some great shops next door and nearby as well!

Walking around the old quarter of Hanoi, you sometimes wonder what’s just behind the small stores and cafes — or what was here in the days before this neighbourhood became overrun by tourists and locals on motorbikes. This rare and restored house is from the...More

Depending on one’s interests, this traditional Vietnamese House is a good start of a Vietnam tour. The house was well preserved with its furnishing. It might be good to put some labels on some significant parts or items in the house like for example the...More

This is worth 30 minutes. The house is well preserved and has some great artefacts. The Mother of Pearl inlay on the table was particularly fine. It won’t astound you but may give you a little insight into a time that was. I was lucky...More

Walked past during a stroll in he old quarter. It was interesting and quite nicely kept inside, good for a quick stop with cheap entry cost of 10,000 VND. Not a whole lot of information in the house, good for a quick wander and escape...More

We almost passed this by, but went in for a quick visit. 10,000 Dong per person. The house dates back to 19th century and for less than one dollar worth a visit to see how people used to live.

The house is unostentatious and you may easily pass it without noticing. It is very elegant with simple interieur that represents traditional merchant's house.

We visited because the ticket was less than an euro but we regret. Is an old vietnamese house but we saw it in 5minutes and there is nothing interesting

This is a very quick visit, maybe 20 minutes, but an interesting and beautiful example of traditional 19th century French-Vietnamese architecture. The house is furnished nicely (as it was when well-to-do shopkeepers lived there, not when it was divided up among 5 families later on)...More
