This tour was AMAZING! Our tour guide Cherry was so sweet and very knowledgeable! She took us to about 6 locations all over Old City and we tried sooo many different Vietnamese dishes—all the food was delicious. We even went back to 2 of the restaurants that Cherry took us to, the food was THAT good! Definitely one the highlights of our trip—would highly highly recommend!

Great little 3hr evening tour from 6:30 / 930 pm. Took in some local spots, excellent interaction and explanations from our guide for the evening. Cherry led the tour and was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Overall an unexpected win in Hanoi. Tip .. you will eat a lot .. so come hungry.

We are 2 travellers from Australia in our early 40s. We did a street food tour through our tour with Groupon. It was Hanoi street food tour with Tony. Tony was very enthusiastic and very good at English. Had a great knowledge of the Vietnam food. We met up with another couple from Germany and we walked the Old quarters of Hanoi. Tony was fun and taught us all how to cross to roads using the saying sticky rice. We tried 9 different street foods. From steamed rice pancakes, beef noodle soup, sugar cane juice, king roti which is a hot fresh sweet bun, to egg coffee, and finished with a desert. Everything was paid for no extra cost even a private car back to the hotel. Tony shared a bit of the Hanoi history with a walk through some of the old homes and schools. I would highly recommend Tony from Hanoi street food tours as tour guide.

Cozy was a fun guide leading us to 8 different restaurants sampling food peppered with anecdotes and stories we won't forget. She called out 'sticky rice' before crossing the road so we would be able to flow through the chaotic traffic very fast. It was fun to be with an eclectic international crowd and hear everyone's stories. Cozy wrote down all the places we visited so we could easily find our favorite foods/treats again the next day. Highly recommended activity.

We took this tour with another family we knew, making 4 adults and 3 children. Ruby was our guide and she did a great job. She was knowledgeable about the food but also happy to share other thoughts and experiences about Vietnam in general. After the second of eight stops she warned us that at the current rate it would take more than 3 hours to complete the tour. We said that was fine and there was no sense of her hurrying us! This was our first night in Hanoi and the tour made an excellent introduction. We shall be returning to some of the places we visited.
