Needed to find a decent market near our hotel This was it. Fresh produce as well as all kinds of local noodles, cookies, etc. We enjoyed shopping here.

Very happy to find one near my hotel. Affordable local products, we found different varieties of pho instant noodles here. A good place to shop for souvenirs too. Try to bring smaller bags otherwise the security guards will make keep your backpacks in the lockers before you can enter the supermarket.

During our recent stay in Hanoi, just 100m outside from our Airbnb accommodation was a Vinmart which opened for 24 hours. We were surprised that the items sold inside were actually cheaper than those in Circle K. We brought some apple cider for 16900 dongs, mineral water, snacks, and personal hygiene items. The cashier was helpful and friendly when we requested her to open up the bottle cap of the apple cider.

This chain of supermarkets in Vietnam, in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi provide a very valuable service to the budget traveler, particularly those opting for Airbnb. You can get most of the things you need from here like vegetables for salad, fruits, eggs, bread, butter and Oats for breakfast or a quick meal in your room. They also keep Beers and some liquor. It will be great if the Cashiers/help staff also knew a bit of English (wishful thinking). I would definitely recommend them.
