Our family has had a last minute booking tour 3 days 2 nights floating over the Halong Bay thru Viet Way in the search for a tranquil and peace of mind trip, so we did not expect too much. The weather was not very pleasant at the time, it was a little bit cloudy with light rains from time to time, and the it was a little bit cooler than our tropical normal temperature, especially for travellers who came from the south of the country. Viet Wave in a special way provided their above- the- best ability to make our trip perfect. We were arranged a room with great privacy, wonderful view, perfect distance to the restaurant and sky bar as well as far enough from the machine room. The crew was excellently warm and took good care of us, the voyageurs were also very nice: one of them provided our infant with a surprise small gift, that little detail added up to endless enjoyment we had during the trip. The second night of ours on the Cat Ba Island could not be better: we got a room with broad view over the bay. We did not expected to stay on the most luxury hotel in the area, somehow we were lucky enough to be the only passengers out of the visitors who enjoy the single night in that unique 4* hotel in the island. I would like to express our sincere thanks to the whole team that made us feel lucky and most valuable. We definitely will book Viet Way for our city tours and other tours they offer.

I went for the one day cruise of Halong Bay and absolutely loved it. Our tour guide, Huyen, was especially funny and informative and made us all feel comfortable. Could not have asked for a better tour guide! The entire tour was very smooth and I have no complaints about it. Will definitely recommend this tour to everyone who wants to make some wonderful memories in beautiful Vietnam.

Booked this tour while in Australia and loved every minute of it. Our tour guides Thi Huyen (who was the funniest chick I've ever met) and Hio (very good info) were the best guides I've ever had. They picked us up from our hotel in Hanoi and drove us to Ha Long Bay where we jumped on the boat and immediately sat down to a perfect lunch. You could buy alcohol aboard. The kayaking was so breathtaking through the caves and so was the walking tour. We also had a glass of wine and fruit afterwards and it was free. I've never laughed so much in my entire life. These girls were the best ever! Five stars for everything that day. Get into it! :)

We booked our Halong Bay over night trip with Garden Bay with this company, We paid $105pp USD. But when we went to book we were told we had to pay an extra $10pp USD for a balcony which we weren't initially advised upfront. We paid it. I do not know if the boat was a good price or not but others on our boat did pay more for the same trip. The company stated it was a 4 star boat but I would say it is more 3 star. We also booked Sapa through the same company. We picked a 2 star hotel option but the hotel was terrible. Overall I thought these prices were reasonable but it is hard to know. There are many other companies who will blindly rip you off. On asking for a bus price to Tam Coc, Mr Hero originally said $10 US. We booked through our hotel for $7. I thought the extra $6US for a short bus ride (2 people) was a little unreasonable, particularly when we booked other things through them. Overall I would book through them again but I recommend you do pricing research before booking any tours with any company.
