Lovely Bridge in Central Hanoi
Feb 2020
This lovely bridge in the middle of the lake in central Hanoi is definitely worth a picture, but isn't really an attraction on its own.

Beautiful Red Wooden Bridge Accessing Ngoc Son Temple
Mar 2019
Lovely bright red, wooden walking bridge arching over Hoan Kiem Lake from shore, connecting to Ngoc Son Temple translated: "Temple of the Jade Mountain". This bridge is generally congested with tourists, so try to visit early in the day. There is a charge to cross the bridge and access the Temple, where you can see a preserved giant turtle and Vietnamese artifacts and alter. An enjoyable visit.

Cau The Huc

A timber bridge painted red! Just an access from the shore of the lake to the Temple of the Jade Mountain. Not really an attraction. Photegenic at night. There is a nominal fee to cross the bridge.

Huc Bridge
Dec 2019
The Huc Bridge connects to the Temple of the Jade Mountain with the shore of Hoan Kiem Lake. I don’t know how this is an attraction on its own, as it is a means to get to Ngoc Son Temple. The bridge is just an average pedestrian bridge, as such, this would make it a poor attraction on its own.

Attractive red bridge to Ngoc Son Temple
Nov 2019
This small bridge connects path round the edge of the Hoan Kiem Lake with the island that houses the Ngoc Son Temple. It’s quite photogenic and gives a good backdrop to photos of the lake, especially after dark when the bridge is illuminated.
If you want to cross the bridge then you will have to pay the 30K Dong entrance fee to visit the temple.

Bridge to Island
Dec 2019
Beautiful, but as a lot of the reviewers before, it would be best at night. It is still beautiful during the day though and you can take photos from the side of the lake. If you wish to cross the bridge then you have to pay.

Gorgeous view at night
Nov 2019
Iconic bridge at Hanoi, We didnt realise there is entrance fee but if you want to avoid the fee, you may still enjoy the view of the bridge from the lake side (Near Helio Coffee Shop)

Photos dont do justice to the beauty of the bridge lit at night.

Beautiful picturesque bridge on Hoan Kiem Lake
Nov 2019
Beautiful picturesque bridge on Hoan Kiem Lake just West from the Old Quarter. It gets very crowded at almost any time, but early mornings are generally quieter.

More than just a bridge
Oct 2019
"Cau The Huc" is now an iconic image for Hanoi. It's just a bridge, but it has become a mecca for photographers.

Particularly beautiful at night when it is very well illuminated.

A must visit for photographers, and most tourists will admire it too.
