I read about Dao’s Care in my travel guide book (Lonely Planet), and after have read all about the place I knew I just had to go.

The location is a little bit out of the way, but easily found and I think that is what is nice about it!

I did the zen massage package. You get greeted by staff on arrival and served a lovely tea while you fill out health info. The herbal bath was brilliant and I would recommend anyone to have one as a perfect start to your visit. It helped me relax beforehand. The massage was unbelievable! A combination of lots of different techniques used, very strong therapist which helped get rid of all my tension. It was great. The massage was supposed to be 90 mins but definitely went on closer to 2 hours.

Fantastic value for money, amazing atmosphere and very attentive staff. I highly recommend!

Don't miss this place. A surreal experience in quality treatments and relaxation. Must do the herbal bath and daos massage combo. A.d incredible deal for a highly professional service. Make sure you don't miss the tiny sign on the alley.

Our daughter treated us to a massage here in preparation for our flight back to the UK and we were delighted!
We started with tea in the foyer which was a really nice touch and relaxed us for the delights of the herbal bath which followed. From there we were led upstairs to the massage area. I was given a male masseuse who worked wonders on my creaking body. The choices you make as to where the masseuse concentrates are interesting because I was massaged everywhere-even the bridge of my nose. You choose the level of pressure applied and certainly hard is just that but my it's good! I managed to fall asleep in the massage, such was the relaxation engendered but there were other times when I was groaning with exertion at the pressure being used.
I have only ever had sports massages before but this was fantastic! My wife and daughter were buzzing about their experiences also. If I ever go back to Hanoi I think I would put this on my to do list for sure.

i and my daughters had foot massage. they gave the whole leg massage. it was so considerate of them to get a male staff to serve my husband and all female staff for my daughters.
place was quiet and relaxing.
totally recommand!!

it is located a little bit far from center of the city.
it took more than 10min to get a cab. (in hanoi you touch the “grab”, you get the cab :)) so you want to avoid the rush hour (5~7pm)

I visited this location after getting off a long flight wanting some relaxation time. That lasted for about 20 mins when the staff started knocking on stall doors to take promotional pictures of guests for their new location. Keep in mind, these are naked people sitting in see through bathwater with no bubbles. It was rude, unprofessional and an extremely loud process. Hire models for that. Then while having tea before our massage, the staff would not stop trying to chat with us. I did not want to be rude, but this is supposed to be a relaxing environment and instead there were people talking loudly in the lobby and trying to move huge plants in and out of the building. And things continued to go downhill from there. I was then brought upstairs for my massage and introduced to my massage therapist who was legally blind. She was very courteous and introduced herself. But then signaled for me to undress for the massage. And instead of leaving me to change stood by the table the entire time. That would have been fine, but the receptionist who is not blind also just stood there. And the fabric dividers between massage tables are see through. There was no privacy in this place. Then throughout the massage, my masseuse sat on top of me and applied so much pressure that there were tears coming out of my eyes. I did not ask for a deep tissue massage and even that was beyond deep tissue. I asked at least 50 times for the pressure to be reduced but still the same thing. I almost got up and walked out it was so bad. I absolutely love the cause of this place and what they are trying to do, but all in all it was an awful experience which I was very shocked by after reading so many great reviews. I hope this is just a one off but consider yourself warned.

I visited yesterday and was so happy with the entire experience. The tea on arrival is delicious (and can be bought by the bag), the tea bath is relaxing and unique, and the zen massage is the perfect mix of soft and hard techniques. The masseuse really listened to me and focused on the problem areas. I can't recommend enough!

The furst thing that strikes when you gobto Dao’s care is the attention to details although humble deciration and location; it gives you a sense of peace. But when the therapist comes in is when you are wowed... they are visually impaired and extremely prifessional in their massage. If you travel to Hanoi, don’t miss it

I left my cell phone and my charger while I was getting a massage. After finishing the massage, I took my charger and mobile phone and went straight to the airport. But now I checked it and changed it to an unused charger.

I had never had a massage before Dao's & I'm really glad it was my first :)

They were SO professional & responsive from the moment you walked in the door to the moment you walked out (the man behind the front desk even waited outside with me until my cab arrived to take me home to make sure I would find it).

I came twice. Both times I did the soak (which was divine) & the acupressure massage. Both masseuses were incredible & very good about checking in with me throughout to make sure it was exactly how I wanted. The second time I had made a mistake with my booking but they were very accomodating & squeezed me in last minute.

The fact that it's an amazing organization that empowers the visually impared & an indigenous tribe in the North is just the cherry on top ;)
I would go back to Vietnam JUST to go back to Dao's (really).

I normally don’t leave reviews, however Dao’s was one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten as well as their herbal bath. Everything from the start of walking in to leaving was outstanding in every way. I highly recommend to anyone traveling to Hanoi.
