We met Peter at the Restaurant and were taken to the cookery school to start on our recipes for the day .. whilst the chicken noodle soup was cooking we went out on bikes (so much fun!!) to the markets and had a great time being taught all about local ingredients and trying street food. Back to the school and carried on making superb food that was easy for beginners but still interesting for a season cook.. lots of fabulous flavours and enjoyed a great dinner. Peter was so informative and great fun with good English. Our best day out in vietnam so far .. highly recommended.

So . Much. Fun!

Peter was our chef for the day. He is the main for the cooking classes at the restaurant. We had dedicated transportation, tour of the markets, buying of ingredients, and of course hands on close up cooking. Some of the best food we had in Vietnam was made in the class. 100 percent worth it highly recommended.

If your a foodie don't miss this cookery class. Cannot recommend it enough. Prawn and pork spring rolls, chicken noodle broth and beef in bamboo were on the menu the day I attended, the flavours of the food are mouthwatering. I was fortunate that the rest of the morning class moved to the evening class and ended up having a one to one with chef Peter. Can't wait to get back home and start cooking his recipes.

This cooking class is more than a cooking class, and gave us an experience of exploring, tasting, cooking, and then eating the final product. We made 3 amazing authentic meals, and took a trip to the market with the chef to buy the ingredients, and tried Vietnamese food. When we got back to the class, we had a hands-on experience and helped to make the dishes completely. The final product ended up being one of the best meals we have had all trip. Great experience that I would recommend to anybody.

My girlfriend and I had this cool experience while we were spending holidays in Vietnam. They collected us at the hotel and taught us how to cook very cool and typical dishes. We went to market to buy fresh ingredients and had a very interesting guided visit through the colours, flavours and incredible Hanoi people. They consented to cook with us normal and vegetarian menu for my girlfriend who doesn't eat meat. The guys were super nice and the food was exquisite, typical flavours plus the pride of self-made cuisine. Totally recommended

I took a morning cooking class here, and was so happy that I did - with such professional and knowledge staff. The cooking school was great fun, and i learned a lot of things about Vietnamese cuisine, went to the market, and then learned how to make some of my favourite dishes. I cannot recommend this restaurant and its cooking school highly enough - fresh, fresh ingredients, a beautifully run and managed kitchen and very innovative well presented dishes.Yes, the cocktails are also very good, as are Mr Gin's tea infusion.

My husband and I decided to do the morning - lunch class. We were picked up by Johnny and taken by scooter to the school. Johnny is very friendly, has great English and was a perfect host. When we arrived, we were greeted by Head Chef Peter. We had 1 other person in our group, so we got to be very involved. Firstly we helped Peter make a broth for the pho (noodle soup). He explained every step in detail and answered questions clearly. Then we prepared some ingredients for our spring rolls. Then Johnny took us via cycle to some local markets, always offering bottles of water if needed. While there, we got to taste some local fruit and he explained the various food they prepare and eat regularly, along with other common Vietnamese traditions. We walked back to the restaurant and made our fresh spring rolls and beef strips in bamboo (so unique). Then we ate it all and it was absolutely delicious! Johnny also took photos as we went along and made sure he sent them to us afterwards. This was a great class and I feel good value for money. We felt very welcomed and learnt a lot! Johnny can arrange a taxi back to your hotel if you wish, but we chose to walk. I would definitely recommend this class - and I don't even enjoy cooking usually!

We had such a wonderful time! The instruction was informative and enjoyable. The whole experience from greeting us to teaching us, enjoying the food and receiving our "graduation" certificate. What a fun time from beginning to end. Thanks soo much Alissa! Delicious!

We had a great time at the cooking class with Chef Jack. Not only was it a lot of fun we also learnt a lot about Vietnamese ingredients. Chef Jack was cheerful and knowledgable. The dishes we cooked were delicious and we look forward to cooking them at home. Chef Jack and his assistant made sure our day was very special. Thank you.
