Also known a Grouptour (booked via 12goasia)

Ruined my bag by burning it with a cigarette and dropping it into dirt. They were also 3 hours late. Avoid at all cost was a terrible experience

Worst experience on any bus ever. 2 hours late. They have no idea what's going on. Driving along with the boot open. Mad driver and stopping absolutely everywhere. Drop off and pick up locations incorrect. Absolutely ridiculous company.

To whom it concerns,
Me and my family of 4 had a bus ride with GROUPTOUR today (Aug20, 2019), from Hanoi to Halong Bay.
First thing is that the driver left us somewhere in Dao Tuan Chau (island) while we had a ticket for Bai Chay bus station, 12-15 km away. The driver told out loud to everyone in the bus that everyone had to get out of the bus at the exception of those who were on the return organised trip to Hanoi. We did not realize at this very moment that we were not being taken to our expected final destination and had to manage and pay extra for a taxi to take us to Bai Chay. The bus already escaped before we realized the situation. We are a family of 4 with two kids of 6 and 4 years old. A disappointing event like this with two young kids and while everyone is tired and hungry of an uncomfortable trip at 12:45 in the afternoon is not something I wish to anyone.

Second, while the entire group was waiting for the bus driver to take us away from the stop rest (a shop with sculptures), the engine was turned off and no AC would keep us cool in the bus. We were overheating for a good while and complaining when he finally turned the engine on and abruptly pressed the accelerator to make the resume the trip.

Third, we have had several bus trips in the latest 3 weeks in Vietnam but this was the first time I felt the driver was putting our lives in danger. The driver had rough driving skills and should be taken out of circulation before an accident involving several passengers happens. Passengers sitting next to me had the same opinion of him. For example, the driven would take tight turns at high speed, would accelerate or brake abusively in a parking section, and would overtake in a way that would scaring the hell out of us. I know in Vietnam the overtaking on highways may appear dangerous for visitors from north America but this driver was pushing the limits to another level. As mentioned, we are traveling for our week #4 now and thus we are getting accustomed to driving habits in Vietnam.

I hope you will take those comments into account.

A unhappy customer hoping better times to your next clients, and on behalf of a family of 4,

Beware transport option that picks up outside the Apollo Hotel - booked the transport back from Sapa to Hanoi For a group of 6. There are 9 seats on the luxury bus. We were charged for 6 VIP seats and arrived 1 hour ahead of our departure time. Tickets specify “no seats allocated - first come/first serve”. The bus came to pick us up and 2 ppl were already on it. They demanded 4 of us to sit in the back and 2 up front as they had to pick one other person up. They said the other person had booked a seat at the back, despite there being no reservation option. They demanded we get off the bus so they could pick up the person and then we could get back on! As we refused, it eventually turned into a game of chicken. More and more of their workers started to gather around the van, looking and laughing in. They told us get off and we could book another bus to get to Hanoi. They refused to drive the bus or leave until two of our group sat up the front. Preference was given to local people over westerns. The last guest arrived and refused to show us her ticket as they pretended she booked before us and the person would also not disclose how much she paid for the ticket. As I offered to give her my seat if she paid more. The people working in the company were rude, and had to resort to bullying tactics of not moving the bus until we gave into their demands! I’m writing this on the way back to Hanoi, and I dread to think where he will drop ya off. I’m not expecting hotel drop off as promised! Looking at the other reviews it could be in the middle of nowhere! Choose another company!

These are the people who make life harder for the good people of Vietnam.

Rude, obnoxious, menacing, angry... the driver we had was a little man with big issues. But from what we saw, the other drivers from this company were cut from the same cloth. At roughly the halfway stop they all pull into the same services area, and like the local mafia, they congregated out the back.

Total disrespect for their customers, talking on the phone and texting incessantly while driving, overtaking on double yellow lines, around blind corners, etc, etc.

I've travelled in plenty of developing countries, but never come across such a person making a living off their guests. No respect at all, and he put my family in danger too many times.

It was a relief to get out of the bus unscathed, we had to find another way back to Hanoi.

Never Seen something so bad!!!!!!
1) they told us to be at the meeting point at 7:15 but the bus arrived at 8:30.
2) very dangerous and agressive driving. We were jumping on our seats as hé was driving so fast. So if you are pregnant or sick in transportations just forget it.
3) WE almost had an accident.
4 ) when we arrived to Hanoï the drivers told us to get out in the middle of nowhere and he told us take à taxi => he was supposed to bring us to the old quarter (it was written on our ticket)
Well, really Bad experience

No free pick-up at our hotel. They said to be at Apollo hotel at 7.15am but comes at 8.30am. The driver drives too fast and dangerously. No possibility to turn off the airco. The driver let us in the middle of the road at 10km from our hotel (old quarter Hanoï). He ordered a soup and said to us that we can book a taxi to our hotel.

Booked through their website(don't believe anything on their website-they are all lies). Paid 46usd for what they promised as a luxury van that will bring us from our hotel in hanoi straight to our hotel in spa. instead of a luxury van it was a normal 30 seater bus, no wifi(unlike what they promised). The bus arrived an hour late to pick us up and the bus arrived two hours late to sapa. And instead of dropping us off at the hotel like what they promised we were kicked out of the bus about three km from the hotel and was told to walk in the rain with tons of luggage and my two young children. When we questioned the driver, he shouted and threatened us with coarse words. NEVER EVER BOOK FROM THIS CHEATING GANGSTER COMPANY

after emailing, confirming and paying 36usd return per pax, the company ordered me to pay extra usd 10 per pax.i was not given a choice.
They put us in a bus instead of a 9 seater luxury van as promised, came one hour late and arrived two hours late, supposed to drop at hotel but dropped us off at outskirts and expected us to walk to our hotel with all the lugggage, no wifi.
We had to carry our bags frm sapa town ,through the rain n muddy streets uphill around 2km to the hotel. Visibility poor due to mist and we were clueless to where the hotel was. DRIVER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE.HE WAS THREATENING TO HARM US .ABSOLUTELY NOT SAFE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!!!!
