Best trip so far we have ever had. Very helpful staff and went out of their way to anticipate our need. Luxury cabin and cleanliness. Excellent meals. Our driver is so professional in crazy traffic.

We were upgraded to this boat so have no idea of the quality we paid for but we paid $110AU each the day before we wanted it. Got reception at hotel to match price but booked through them.
The bus ride up is very uncomfortable but we felt it was safe enough. Greeted warmly by staff from the minute we stepped on bus (we were second so had a few stops to pickup others along the way) to the docking crew to the boat staff.
Straight to lunch which was fantastic. Afternoon kayaking, swimming, relaxing and then up to 'Sunset surprise' . Think this is a little bit of marketing as we had to say 'cheers' extremely loud for the other boats to hear us. Tea was again fantastic. Followed by Kareoke which was fun although many people left. Up to the top deck once more for a whisky and beer (harvey wallbanger). Time for bed.
Up early for our trip to 'Surprise Cave'. Was fantastic waking up on the water looking out the window. Boat lady came and tried to sell me a packet of pringles for $12AU and wouldn't take any less and wouldnt' go away! Wasn't much of a drama. Went to cave which was fairly nice. Back and Up to breaky. Buffet. Really good. Each of us on the boat were going different directions. Some to Island for 2nd night. Some to an island for the day to return for 2nd night on boat and then about 15 of us stayed for lunch. Was fantastic.
Only had 2 complaints. 1 was how they stopped our Kareoke to go up to watch the magic show when we were having so much fun and secondly the price of water was extreme IMO. It was like they didn't want us to miss out on anything so we could share the information for promotion of them. All in all it was a great cruise and we had a lot of fun

My family visited Halong bay in In late August 2016 with Halong Cruise AU Agent and we had a wonderful time . We paid approx above $100 OZ each for an overnight stay on a cruise deal including transportation from Hanoi to Halong bay and the return. Cruise was simply awesome and could not expect more with the amount we spent for this amazing deal. Our cabins were not so big but very clean and cozy. Food were mixed between Vietnamese and western which was good but we hope to get full Vietnamese menu for next time.
Halong bay is majestic and peaceful and at night the lights from the other boats on the water were so beautiful to see and chill from the topdeck . .If any if the lovely fellows we met read this Thankyou for a fabulous time !

Excellent service, contact and tour guide as well as the cruise accommodation. Our family top recommended travel agent.

A visit to hanoi without going to halong bay will be quite a shame. Just couple of hours away by car. The cruise around the bay in a junk and the scenery and floating community n the climb up the hills are not to be missed. It is highly recommended to stay for at least one night on the junk. You will feel.so close to nature and mother earth.

Actually We were booked with Blezza Cruise but it in the last movement it was cancelled due to some safety measures so our toor operator Ms Kathy immediately booked Silver sea Cruise for us. The cabins were clean, comfortable and spacious with breathtaking views. Mouthwatering meals cooked by a top chef . Fantastic service with a smile, genuinely fun atmosphere. Watching the sunset and incredible views from the top deck were a highlight on this cruise. I honestly cannot fault Silversea Cruises and I would highly recommend you book with them if you're planning a trip to Viatnam. Activities we did were also very good!

We stayed for 2 days, 1nights .

We went on an overnight cruise on Majestic Cruise. Beautiful sight, tranquil waters, serene beauty. We had a good group of tourists on the boat. The cabins with very comfortable. The meals were good. The bar prices were above average compare to land prices. Before we docked we made a stop at a cave - worth the walk and amazing sights. In the morning they do a Tai-Chi Class and then after breakfast a short boat ride to the farm where they harvest oysters and kayaking. The price includes everything. Tips extra. Around 11 a.m. you start sailing back to the pier after having brunch. Its a long drive from Hanoi to the pier and back but an unforgettable experience.

Visit was pleasant with a breathtaking scene but we didn't feel good after finding out that we were conned

We were charged $100 more than all others on board and was given the worst room (next to the engine room). We complained against the cruise company but was told that everyone else was upgraded for free and they can't charge us the same, else they would be making losses.

Word of advise - do your homework and research. Only book after all the research.

Personal recommendation - Alisa and Pelican Cruise

Halong Bay is truly a gem not be missed. Our cruise was delayed for an hour due to a downpour but soon we were tendered to our cruise boat and there are many, to be greeted by the friendly staff. Our room was very well appointed, clean though somewhat dated, but interesting. There was even a small balcony. Once underway we were treated to a lovely lunch as we cruised through the amazing rock formations. After a short stop at a beach where some chose to climb many stairs to see a cave, we were cruising again. Dinner on board was very good and we were treated to some entertainment by the staff. A very quiet night was spent on board and the following day we arrived at a small floating dock where we transferred to small boats powered by a lady or man dressed in colourful pink, manning two oars. We began a most unforgettable cruise through an area filled only with the lapping of the oars and quiet talk as we gazed in awe at the rock formations and went past small fishing villages built on the water. After some 45 minutes we arrived back at our dock and transferred back to our cruise ship which slowly took us back to Halong Bay. This is a bucket list cruise.

I've finished my wonderful trip to Vietnam and had many memorable things to talk about, especially the advisor services when I'm in Halong Bay.
First one, I was impressive by tour advisor with excellent knowledge. He's a lively map. He knows everything about this country. The manner is very professional and polite. High recommended for someone who are looking for the tourguide for your trip.
Second, the cruise and accmodation - room cabin were extremely luxury. I've heard about the Signature Cruise but when I was living in it, it really got me satisfactory.
Third one, memorable and funny outside activities as we did visting the cave and doing the kayaking a round the bay. They were very strange experience to me.
Last but not least, what a attractive offer with budget fee but 5 stars service standard. Highly recommended.

We had such a lovely trip with family including my partner and a 2 years old son. We were suggested to do the 3 days 2 nights trip and it was ideal choice. We love the cruise, the food and thank for their best service. The great gift for my son after the tour was very delighted. Love to share this amazing experience with my other family members and friends.
