After some initial issues with most of the hotels listed in the original itinerary becoming unavailable once we’d paid the deposit, our travel guide, Alex worked hard to create an excellent itinerary for our private tour, which included lots of activities and meals.
The whole thing ran like clockwork once we arrived in Vietnam. We enjoyed the convenience of having tour guides and drivers collecting us from airports and hotels without hassle, and the hotels and transport vehicles were lovely. The tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful, particularly Bill in Saigon, Harry in Hanoi, and Yao in Sapa, and the drivers were punctual and skilled. Our travel guide, Alex checked in with us regularly via Whats App, and it was reassuring to know he was available to us if required.
I would highly recommend Viland if you’re looking for a Vietnam tour that’s not a group tour, able to be tailored according to your preferences, reasonably priced, and supports the local economy.

We have just returned from a 17 day tour of Vietnam and Cambodia organized by Viland Travel. Our trip was originally planned for March 2020 and less than two weeks before departure it had to be cancelled due to Covid. Viland Travel not only honored our original booking and deposit but actually improved our itinerary and upgraded our hotels and after a 3yr delay we were able to make our trip which was a special holiday for myself and my two sisters. Ms Kata Tran was outstanding in organizing our perfect trip, her attention to detail and constant communication before and during our trip was very reassuring and everything that she planned for us went as smooth as clockwork… the drivers, guides, hotels and tours all exceeded our expectations and I am just so happy that we chose Viland Travel. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone considering traveling there and cannot praise Kata highly enough

After our great experience with Viland Travels for our Vietnam trip last year, we used the agency again to plan a trip to Thailand. In this regard, Viland travels gave us an excellent itinerary for exploring Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Phuket over an eight-day period. The trip was well designed in which all our requests were met and in which we were able to explore each destination to the fullest extent that we had hoped for. The guides were excellent in their knowledge and in taking good care of us. The agency helped in making our trip a memorable one. We got to explore the temples, city life, rural life, the golden triangle and the sea as well as beaches. We would recommend Viland travel and will continue to use them for future trips.

We just returned from an incredible trip to Vietnam, and we can’t thank Viland Travels enough for making it such a memorable experience for our family. We traveled to Hanoi, Hoi An, Halong Bay, and Ho Chi Minh City, and every moment was perfectly planned.
The hotels were fantastic—beautiful and all centrally located, which made exploring so easy. We did food tours in each city, which quickly became a highlight for us. The food tour in Ho Chi Minh City was unforgettable; riding through the city on motorbikes to sample local dishes was such a unique experience! Our visits to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the War Museum were equally amazing, with knowledgeable and engaging guides who brought each site to life.
Our kids, ages 4 and 12, absolutely loved the trip. In fact, they both said it was their best travel experience ever! Our 4-year-old didn’t want to leave Vietnam and is still talking about it weeks later, reminiscing about the adventures we had. The Halong Bay cruise, with its spacious and beautiful room, had lots of activities to offer — although the food could have been better.
The guides were outstanding, always friendly, efficient, and so thoughtful with our kids. Alex from Viland Travels truly went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable journey for our family, and we highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Vietnam.

We just returned from a 2 week tour through Vietnam organised by Kata Tran from Viland Travel. Tour planning with Kata was great and she also took care of us during the journey updating us continuously throughout the trip. I never experienced more personal support - I highly recommend booking with Kata - she is the best tour Organizer I ever had!

After arranging my own flight tickets to and from Hanoi, I asked them to draw up and arrange a plan for Land Only to visit Ha Long Bay and Angkor Wat in 7 nights and 8 days, 6 nights on site and 1 night on board. The arrangements for the Hanoi-Sherim Up (Angkor Wat) and Hanoi-Ha Long Bay routes were accurate and stress-free, and the Japanese guides at each location were almost perfect, and because of the individual trips, I was able to tell them where I wanted to go and change destinations. Fine
I was satisfied that it was reasonable and cost-effective.
If you can't speak English at all, you may need to increase the weight of your Japanese guide, but whether you know my English ability or not, the combination of where you should use a Japanese guide and where you only need to do it in English is excellent.
If I ever travel to Southeast Asia, I would like to ask for another arrangement.
I was satisfied that it was reasonable and cost-effective.

Tommy, our tour guide for the 1-day Ha Long Bay tour, was exceptional! He expertly navigated us through the stunning landscapes, sharing insightful information and ensuring we had a memorable experience. Evelyn at Viland designed a custom tour for us that covered all of Vietnam from North Vietnam (Sapa) to South Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh), Siem Reap Cambodia and Laos. Everything went very smoothly and Evelyn checked in with us at each destination to ensure we were completely satisfied. A friend of mine suggested Viland travel: it was the best choice ever.
We leveraged their expertise to organize a 9-days travel in Vietnam in August 2024.
We had the opportunity to have a local experience and have a true occasion to visit places in a “non-theistic way”.
All the guides had a real good knowledge of English and they were really kind in explaining us the curiosity of the places we were visiting, they were really passionate about their job, and we had the opportunity to appreciate 100% the places, the culture and the people!
The support was continuous and we never had the feeling of being abandoned. 100% recommended!

The itinerary made for our Northern Vietnam travels was perfect and everything we asked for and more. They were very accommodating especially with the typhoon hitting just weeks before we arrived, they were able to rearrange our schedule and put us at ease. Hello, thank you very much for your question! We have our own cruise with secluded itinerary, our own private island with English speaking tour guide. Our hosts are also from English speaking countries. I believe that you don't have to be worried about it!
