Great store and even better people

Travelers passing through Hanoi often find that the quality of goods that they buy as gifts and souvenirs aren't very good. Le Chalet Cafe is a very welcome exception to this! Everything they sell is high quality and unique, on top of that it actually helps support local communities. I can't recommend it enough!

Nice little corner in the old town

Here in Hanoi, you don't necessarily need to buy souvenirs like nuts, or coffee. Instead, you can buy their cute products in order to help their social work in Sapa, especially for children's education.

The staff was really nice and patient to introduce the products. A real nice experience shopping in Le Chalet Cafe.

A little heaven in Hanoi old quarter!
Sep 2016 • Couples
We have been to the first Le chalet cafe shop in Tay Ho district and love everything there. Recently we visited their second shop in the old quarter and can reassure that this is the most amazing gift shop we have been too. Everything is high quality and, more importantly, is made with love and care for the local community. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Definitely a place to go when we want to get gifts for family and friends, or just a lovely treat for ourselves. Buying products from them means supporting local communities.

A little local shop fostering universal values
Jun 2016 • Friends
What I love so much about this shop is the great pride it takes in promoting locally produced unique beautiful hand-made gifts, which truly makes it stand out from plentiful souvenir shops in Hanoi selling soulless mass-produced Chinese trinkets. The efforts a little shop like Le Chalet Cafe has been making to maintain the local cultural identity and sustain local production in the age of globalization and dominance of huge foreign producers are undoubtedly invaluable and worth being multiplied elsewhere. More interestingly, I learnt that with every purchase made at the shop, customers are contributing to education development, environmental protection and other community projects the shop management and staff are working on. For this reason, my shopping experience at Le Chalet Cafe has always been so enjoyable and rewarding.

A small gift shop - big hearts

A perfect shop if you want to get authetic Vietnamese gift. Most of the gift shops were a bit tacky and you didn't really know where anything had been made.
Le Chalet Café had hand made gifts made by ethnic minorities and artisans. And when i heard that they support Vietnamese local producers through social projects. It's so nice. Friendly staff and beautiful shop. i think i will continue use Lechalet café's products. i really like it.

A little bit of heaven

The perfect shop to find great and unique gifts for your love ones back home. My mom really loves when i bring stuff from here, especially the handmade items, prices are pretty affordable, super friendly staff. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Le Chalet Cafe, plus these are gifts that make a difference cos your purchases support programs in the fields of education to those living in remote areas, inspiring people to care about the planet, just to name a few. I really really love this cute little shop, just a little bit of heaven

Gifts for good

A place that provide cute gifts, coffee as well as pleasant chat with friendly staff. I really impressed by the way they get their customers connected with producers of the gifts by means of shared stories posted on the shop’s walls. I bought a nice local rattan bag and I am sure you will find interesting gift.

Excellent Shop!
May 2016 • Couples
Cute little shop. If you value sustainable hand-made crafts, and a connection to the local populations of Viet Nam, please consider making a purchase here. It's nice to have found a place that's not peddling the same old trendy trinkets from China. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of our business. I'll definitely stop in again during my next trip to Hanoi!

Le Chalet is the fist place which appears in my mind every time we come back to Europe. Many choices for our beloved's gifts. Cute & Practical! The gifts here can be used in daily life or for decoration. Always a good shopping for my family here.
