We arranged this trip at relatively short notice through Wide Eyed Tours who had been recommended to us. The journey began in Hanoi and included Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City. Our guides met us on time every time, all were courteous, knowledgeable and because I was a veteran, added some pertinent side tours to our itinerary. All the drivers were likewise courteous and knew their job and when to get us places in time. We could not fault the organisation of our trip by Ms Loan Vu of WE Tours. Vietnam is a wonderful and fascinating country, worth every minute.

Two families including five children aged 11-15 spending 10 days on the ground in Vietnam, staying in Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An and HCM City. Wide eyed tours have taken care of everything brilliantly, from airport transfers and pickups, accommodation and full6 escorted tours with English speaking guides.
Special mention to our guide Châu in HCM City. She escorted us to the Cu Chi tunnels and then an impromptu tour before we left the day- we had half a day to kill. Her local knowledge and engaging manner made her tours interesting and enjoyable.

Highly recommend Wide Eyed Tours and ask for Châu as your HCM City guide.

Grandparents, parents and children went on a fabulothaus private tour of Veitnam and Cambodia for a inexpensive first class tour. We had a great time. For 2 weeks we saw beautiful sites, cycled, boated and hiked the 2 countries. We were met at every transfer and taken to where we were supposed to go. The tour guides were knowledgable. I don't cyle and my husband after 3 plus knee surgeries was challenged riding a bike, so Loan arranged a guide that let me sit behind him on a motorbike and my husband did the same with another guide who rode behind the group. I recommend Wide eye tours highly. Also the grandparents live in USA and parents and kids live in Australia and Loan of Wide Eye tours coordinated eveything for us with ease.

It has been a while since we came back from Vietnam and I feel very guilty for not writing up the review much sooner. The Wide Eyed Tours thoroughly deserves it. Everything was organized and managed so that we get the most out of our time in Vietnam. The 10 days we spent in Vietnam were most certainly short and we wish we had more.
Vietnam is a country with so much history, activity, and beautiful places and we cannot wait to be able to go back.
We wanted to add few things to our itinerary and Ha Nguyen from Wide Eyed Tours was very forthcoming and helpful. It is much appreciated.

I cannot pick a trip highlight because everything was so great, but the one for my daughter was a motorbike ride around Hue with an incredibly funny and knowledgeable Tam.
Lots of well wishes and regards to him and the rest of his team of drivers from young daddy :)

In January my wife and I visited Vung Tau and the site of the former wartime base at Nui Dat. Our guide was Khong Quoc Thuan who spoke perfect English and whose knowledge of both Vung Tau and it's war time past was the most comprehensive I have encountered. Thuan came equipped with maps showing where the various Australian units were located during the war which enabled us to understand where the various components were physically located. This along with Thuan's knowledge brought to life all the various V Veterans stories we have heard over the years.
I think that for most Australians, the Long Tan cross site is very significant and Thuan even provided roses in order that we could pay our respects to all those of both sides that fell in the battle. Certainly a very unexpected touch.
We finished the day off with a visit to the Long Hai hills/Minh Dam secret zone where I was able to get an idea of how difficult things were for the Nth Vietnamese forces. Had a great time climbing down through the rock formation into tunnels that certainly weren't made for my height.

A highly recommended tour for Australians, particularly those with a knowledge/connection to wartime Vietnam.
I highly recommend Thuan for his knowledge and attention to detail through both our tours - couldn't ask for a better guide!

On short notice Tracey and Loan put together an amazing 2 week your for us. Everything was made easy and everything ran smoothly from airport pickups to tour pickup and transfers. Their selection of accommodation was top notch and their availability to answer questions was fantastic. We especially loved the personal touch when Loan came to visit us while we were in Hanoi and escorted us to the train station to catch the over night train.
I love that Loan also took the initiative to book the whole train cabin just for the two of us so we had a private and peaceful journey. Well done Loan. I'd recommend Wide Eyed Tours to anyone!!

I have had three trips with Aust-Wide Tours this year - Victorian Silo Art, SA Silo Art & a free mystery trip for my birthday month. All have been excellent & I highly recommend this small company. Based in Adelaide, but have tours all over Australia. Next year it will be Norfolk Island. WOW!

My wife and I visited 4 regions of Vietnam over a 2 week period. Our accommodation, tours, transport, guides and general arrangements were seamless. An alternative tour arranged because of weather conditions proceeded without a hitch. Our contact person at Wide Eyed Tours, Ms. Huong was prompt, efficient and her advice was both timely and effective. Based on our current experiences, both my wife and I would not hesitate to either recommend or utilise the services of Wide Eye Tours again.

Our travel agent in Australia used Wide Eyed Tours & Travel to organise our 21 day itinerary to Vietnam and it was just amazing! Ms. Chi Hoang did a fabulous job and included everything we asked for, she even came to meet us on or first stop in Hanoi and suggested places to eat! Everything ran like clockwork, internal flights, transfers, hotels, guides, day trips, and overall it was perfect. Chi was available via WhatsApp anytime for any question! A big thank you to her and your company for a memorable, fun and busy trip! Would highly recommend!

We used Wide Eyed Tours for our Southeast Asia portion of our world trip and we are so happy we did! The support we received from them was amazing and the tour guides were fantastic!

Our best experience was in Siem Reap when we had Khat Sam Ath (Jackson) as our tour guide for the day of going around the temples. His knowledge of the history and his humor made the entire day/experience amazing. I have been to the temples 3 times now and this time was the best as I learnt the most and got to see the most as he took us to see specific parts of the area that you wouldn't normally see.

I would 100% wide eyed tours to anyone doing Southeast Asia and would 100% recommend having your tour guide as Khat Sam Ath!
