Second time using Easy Riders since we came to Dalat, again they did not disappoint. Nobi and Tica were excellent tour guides, offering helpful suggestions about where we could go and giving us a lot of information and history along the way. Excellent drivers, we both felt extremely safe and comfortable with them, would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our experience exploring Vietnam on the back of a motorcycle with Phuong – our very own Easy Riders tour guide, host and friend. They didn’t just drive us to Nha Trang on the back of their motorcycles; they took photos for us, ordered food for us, translated for us, shared stories and laughter with us, introduced their family to us, and kept us safe the whole time. There’s nothing quite like being on a motorcycle on the open road in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, with the boundless blue sky above, mountains behind, and green rice paddies stretching all the way to the horizon ahead. I would recommend a sturdy windbreaker as protection against the wind and mist in the mountains, especially if travelling in December as we did. Our trip was plagued with occasional rain and cool winds, but also glorious sunny patches that moments made up for the chill. Being on the back of a motorcycle driving through the countryside was in itself a exciting affair for city-dwellers like us. The first morning we enjoyed the thrill of the ride itself, and then settled into just taking in the many different landscapes, and waving to friendly rural schoolkids who shouted to us in English. The route was meandering, with stops along the way; Phuong was happy for us to take as long as we liked, adjusting the schedule to fit. We had complete freedom, pulling over to wander aimlessly into a rice paddy or take photos with water buffalo. Other highlights included a visit to the stunning Elephant Falls; a ride across a small two-motorbike ferry; and stops at various real-life examples of local industry and agriculture, from a silkworm factory to a brickmaking shop to rubber plantations and mushroom farms. Despite the exposure to the elements, this turned out to be the very best way to see Vietnam. I can honestly say that just hanging out with Phuong and discovering the culture and ideas of Vietnam, through him and his family, were the most memorable aspects of our whole trip. Forget about cars, trains or crowded buses. This is the real deal.

My wife and I did a one day tour of the environs around Dalat, 8-5pm. We covered a lot of ground, saw lots of beautiful scenery, villages and visited beautiful pagodas, waterfalls and lookouts. We also went to flower, silk and cricket farms, bought local rice whisky, and had a delicious lunch along the way. The brothers, Molly and Michael were hilarious and full of interesting information about each place and the plants along the way. Highly recommended, the best thing we did in Dalat!!

We had two wonderful days riding from Dalat to Mui Ne. Visited lots of beautiful places. Both guides gave us interesting information about their fascinating country. We felt really safe and Mr. Hongs jokes and good mood was a joy! Definitely recommend it!!

Despite my misgivings about riding pillion on Vietnamese roads my partner and I had a great day out in the environs of Da Lat and our two riders took us to places that we could never have found on our own and explained quite a lot about the way of life and farming techniques on the plateau. They were good riders, good company, and very friendly. We'd thoroughly recommend their tour.
