You can go to Lang Biang by taxi, motorbike or tour. It costs 20,000vnd to enter per person, then you have the option of trekking or pay 50,000vnd per person to go up and down by jeep. Or you can rent a whole jeep for 300,000vnd. Don't worry, the jeep drivers are professional in climbing the steep road. I suggest... More

There's a review that describes (and shows in pictures) how you Can avoid the paved Road and the Jeeps. Most of it is still up to Date except for the Point where you leave the paved Road. The build a fence so that you no longer can use this little dirt Road (actually it isn't there anymore). What you have... More

Next time, one must bring some wine/beer/champange and have a lover picnic , family picnic , it will be a great outing, the set back is that too much Horse dropping everywhere, so best is the "cowboy" to collect and clean them or have the horses separate from the tourist

There are several descriptions here and under "Lang Biang trail" about how to get there by bus and hiking. We also took the orange bus from the local bus station next to Eximbank: it seems to go every hour at 15 to the hour (at least at 9.45 and 10.45), takes about 30 min and costs 12.000 pp. Motorbike taxis... This tour started with a bike ride from Da Lat to the foot of the mountain. We then parked our bikes and hiked up the mountain. It took hours and was incredibly exhausting. Many of the jeeps passed us on the way up emitting that familiar diesel smell you get in Vietnam. Then at the top it was very hard... More

Decide if you want to hike or take a jeep to the top. We decided to hike and spent almost the whole day. Information given on previous reviews is very accurate, and this is well worth doing as the view once you get to the top is beautiful. Take water and snacks.

We couldn't find the dirt road leading to the non touristic peak on our way up but did find it going back. Actually you don't need to buy an entry ticket at all, you can just take the dirt road located at the right of the lain entrance (see picture LG dirt road).
