The Crazy House is an enjoyable diversion in Da Lat. You are able to stay, but wouldn't recommend it as your accommodation is on display. Entry otherwise is paid, and you may wander through, and on top of, the 'house'. Built by/for an architect and...More

You either hate it or love it... still a lot of construction works going on, area for about 70% completed. Not really my favorite type of activity.

Yes, the Crazy House is just CRAZY! Yes, it's under a bit of construction in places. (That's good - it's expanding!) Yes, it was raining (What better to do on a rainy day!!?) Yes, it is precarious at times - so you had to be...More

This was actually quite impressive, with its Gaudi like stairs and spires, though the lady architect - who still lives in the building and who is still planning further expansion - was trained in Moscow. The rooms and grounds have whimsical touches, and some of...More

It’s a really crazy house; it’s even more crazy when one realizes that it’s a hostel or guest house, in which one can rent a room. Sooooooo insane...but lovely

Really enjoyed the little walk around the house and different buildings. There’s a path that resembles a big tree branch expanding throughout the property. Still under construction, tickets are 50.000 per person, I personally think it’s worth it. Go early, at noon when we were...More

It's absolutely crazy and fun, and we really enjoyed exploring every nook and cranny. Don't forget to visit the under-the-sea dance hall (after the giant seashell) where the Vietnamese middle-age gents and ladies have dance classes. The garden cafe serves good drinks at a reasonable...More

The Crazy House that was a hotel and became a museum. It makes you think of Gaudi. Already being augmented. I found it sad. As we saw there were people making it bigger.

Hi, Yup you can stay there. Nice rooms and I think it would be comfy for 2 pax. But you will have to get use to having lots of people there as people go there to look around and take photos.
