It's okay just to say you have been there after seeing it on the internet but I personally wasn't all that taken with it. The grounds were not really in top condition although the building presented simply and elegantly as was the way of the...More

This venue gives an interesting look into the life of one of Vietnam's rulers. The tour shows mostly the living and working spaces of the era ... in some ways very pragmatic and some a little ostentatious.

I had heard that this was a must visit in Dalat. To be honest, it is a poorly maintained historical location. The grounds were not kept and there are random merchants throughout the property and a "market" for you to walk through before leaving. When...More

I came here with my daughter to show her a palace and instead we found a moth eaten, unmaintained building that had very little of interest to see. The grounds are also poorly maintained, such a waste given the great location and potential.

This palace cannot be compared to those grand palaces typically found in Europe. The building, rooms, deco are rather basic, simple in design and architecture. Nevertheless, one has an idea of the living condition of the last king and his royal family. Not a must-visit,...More

It's a rather sad, deserted place. Like the royal family just left and forgot to return. It must have been beautiful in its day - smart, clean art deco design and a bright inflow of light. Certainly worth a visit.

We didn't actually intend to go here, just found it when we were riding around looking for the crazy house. It's not really like a palace, kind of musty and old. Its weird because it looks like they do take precautions (make you wear funny...More
