I live in Vietnam - so as far as markets go this is not a great one - apart from plants there is not a lot of interesting stuff to see.

Just like any other market the world over ,perhaps a little cheaper ,selling sweat shop tat ! A necessity for some of the less wealthy locals but as a tourist I would not go out my way . Little or no locally produced gifts or artifacts.

Huge market, great food, chaos, scooters riding through, cheap clothes, more chaos, more food :) You should try it at least once.

It is a very common market, like you can find it everywhere in Vietnam. It is quite big and all the food seemed to be very fresh.

This is my second visit to Dalat and I love the place and especially the market. It has a great atmosphere even if you don't want to buy. If you do want clothes it has a great range of long racks of cheap clothes at marked prices. Jackets for 150,000 Dong or tshirt for 35 or 50,000.

Yes, very typical ! The only enjoyment of walking in the Da lat night market is the cooling weather which makes the whole shopping trip very comfortable and we are willing to spend more time at the night market even just to have a cup of coffee. Remember to bargain. I see a lot of hawkers selling the local pizza.... More

Very easy to find old cheap clothings (jacket, hoodies ..) here with good quality and authentic with the price cannot be cheaper. Just remember to check every details carefully because the old market opens from sunset until midnight. If you're not used to eat street food, I dont recommend you to eat here. They have snails, bbq sticks, and grilled... More

Similar to other markets, there are a variety of offerings. However, due to the local climate, this market has better quality fruits, flowers, and vegetables.

we went there to buy some food for cooking ourselves. we visit the fresh food market with fruits, vegetable, and meat. well, we went to seafood section too but we cannot find any good seafood, probably because of dalat is far away from the sea. The fresh food is great but impossible to communicate with English. so you probably need... More
