I did a two day tour from Dalat to Nha Trang with a night in Phan Rang with Peter. I met Peter at the bus station in Dalat at 4am as I got off an overnight bus. He showed me some of the trips he had done and his reviews online. I decided to let him take me to a spot for some coffee and discuss it with him. We decided that he would pick me up at 8am the next day. On the first day we saw Linh Phước, some tea fields in the hills, got some Vietnamese lunch, a temple called Kalan Po Klong Giarai, went to Nha Trang beach and had dinner where you cooked on top of charcoal. The hotel we stayed in was nice and the people their were very friendly. The next day we left at 7am and saw another temple with a really good view from where it was, Trung son co tu, though there was a lot of construction works happening. We then went down to the local markets where Peter bought some food to cook for our lunch which was really good. He then dropped me of in Nha Trang.

Peter was upfront about the cost of $75 USD per day including everything except food and drink.

Overall it was a really good trip to be able to see things most tourists don't see. Getting to ride on a motorbike for the first time was great and the views on the way were amazing. I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Central or South Vietnam off the tourist path with up to 10 people.

I met Peter by chance at the bus station after catching the overnight bus from Saigon to Da Lat. He explained he is a tour guide and has been for 30 years and runs a hotel in his house, originally I was planning on staying at a hostel but Peter's house only cost me 100k to stay in for the night which is likely even cheaper than a hostel.
Peter told me instead of catching another bus to buon ma thuot I should ride with him over 2 days, seeing how cheap my trip already was, and that the tour will only cost me $70/day, I decided to try it.
Riding with Peter does not feel like a tour, you won't be eating at resteraunts or visiting museums, instead you'll be eating from street vendors and stopping at farms or local towns. This is the part I want to emphasise, personally I don't like tours because many times it doesn't feel like travelling, if you are like me and share this sentiment then I can safely say this tour IS for you. It is a far better alternative to simply catching the bus to the next town and in a part of the country that can only be appreciated on a motorbike.
The other factor is the cost, all things considered, $70US per day is cheap, and you will always avoid more expensive attractions or dining, so this tour is a good option for those on a budget. Take it from someone that doesn't like doing tours, this one is worth the money.

The application and communication via Whatsapp evening before was perfect and quick, so that we even could add two spots we wanted to visit. As we needed to get to the airport at the end, no problem, our backpacks traveled with us.

The guide Tri and his friend Hoang were very nice to us, always smiling, patiently waited on the agreed place, and willingly explained about the place, history, processes,…

During the tour, you will see top places in Da Lat and get to the amazing rural area around the town.

Have to say, it was one of the best tour I have ever attended. That is the professionalism on the highest level. Fully recommended!

My father and I wanted to see some places in Da Lat and ride some motorbikes. But seeing the traffic we decided to search for a tour instead.
I can’t say anything else than that it was absolutely perfect. The communication was very quick and easy. Our guide Tri and his colleague Hoang were very willing and kind, we could even do some changes to fit into our other plans. We experienced and learnt so many new exiting things and Tri’s knowledge about places, history, etc was amazing. The ride was very thrilling and with them knowing about the local traffic rules we felt much safer than if we would’ve been alone. I would totally recommend it and I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.

This was one of our favorite experiences from our entire trip to Vietnam! We booked it last minute but were so excited that they had availability. Our drivers, Quyen & Phuoc, were fantastic! Funny, charismatic, knew a ton about the local areas that we visited, and most importantly kept us safe on our full day of touring! We were able to explore areas that we would've had no idea existed if we explored on our own, and had the added benefit of stories and history lessons from Quyen & Phuoc. If you have time for this, absolutely do it! You won't regret it.

Peter & Tommy are hands down the most down to earth individuals I’ve ever met. They really go out of their way to make sure you get to see the most beautiful sights Dalat countryside has to offer. Wish we could have done a multi day tour. Thank you Peter & Tommy!

A trip with Peter on his motorbike is the best way to see Vietnam. It is fun, interesting and a real adventure. I've travelled with him many times all over Vietnam, and I'll recommend his tours to anyone interested in seeing the "real" Vietnam, meet vietnamese people on the road, learn about the history and culture of this wonderful country and eat wonderful vietnamese food. Peter is a safe driver, he has a lot of knowledge and love for his country and he is nice company.

I booked my tour To Dalat from Ho Chi Minh City in our website. So my first contact was Peter by e mail. He answered in my questions and was able to change some stuff for tge tour because i didn't want to do it. Few days before starting the tour he send me a picture of my driver : Van Hung ! I met him in my hostel and we start the tour. He was very careful about my bag and me. He drove very safely during the tour it was really great and perfect to see beautiful landscape ! Hung know everything ! He is not a simple driver he is a perfect guide who explain everything very good and want to show you what you interested. He stopped a lot of time to take pictures and see beautiful landscape. He can also speak a bit French and know a lot about french culture.
Let's talk about my tour : the first and second days we was with a another bike and i can met his daughter (who was the driver). Unfortunately the second day i was sick so we change the plan and they send me in the hotel. They care about me a lot and help me to be better ! It was really nice ! So because of that the time missing to go to Ho chi minh in time ( or lot of highway ...) so Hung fund a solution anc it was perfect ! So we change the plan and i discover more things than if i went to ho chi minh city !
So i recommend this tour and especially Hung wgo is the best driver and guide !!!!! It was funny anc interesting! ! Thank you

The Bikes we rent working very well and Peter do the best to serve us local food. So we meet a lot of people we never meet when we do the Tour byself.

Peter jumped on me at the bus arrival and proceeded to propose a bike trip from Dalat to Nha Trang through the highlands that I had no plan of doing. After an initial period of circumspection on my part, he succeeded in winning me over.

I am glad he did as this tour proved to be very good, once again the bike proving to be the ideal way of discovering Viet Nam. Add to that insightful stops along the way and a perfect dosing of hammock breaks, walks through scenic mountain roads and you have the perfect tour !

Plus, he can also speak very decent french !
