Relaxing
Apr 2019 • Family
Had a relaxing evening aroma massage and facial with Deedy. The oils used felt good quality. A highlight would be the treatment rooms. They’re extremely spacious. Would definitely return.

A worthwhile indulgence
Mar 2019 • Solo
I had two separate treatments. The first was a full body massage and the second was a foot massage. I absolutely loved the large massage table! It allows your therapist enough room to manoeuvre larger sized people with maximum leverage. The thai massage is better on a table rather than the floor. My therapist was highly skilled and knew exactly how to adjust the pressure when using her elbows too. I finished feeling stretched and relaxed instead of stretched and sore 😁. Definitely check it out if you are ever at the Renaissance Phuket!

Worst spa experience
Nov 2018 • Solo
Went here during my stay at Marriott. It was the worst spa experience I’ve ever had. wouldn’t recommend it unless you have absolutely nothing else to do. Local spa in nearby naiyan village had much better quality for way better price (900 bhat for 90 mins of aloe Vera massage, Quan spa charged me 3500 bhat for 90mins). The staff seemed surprisingly inexperienced or just unfit for the job - massage did not feel good and there were many occasions where the staff scratched or rubbed my sunburn, though I had told them that I am sunburned multiple times before the massage. I felt very uncomfortable throughout the 90 min session and only after I was done I noticed that it was caused because of the spa bed and cushion being unaligned...usually the bed would have a hole and there would be a cushion made of towel (hence detachable) around the hole, but in the case of quan spa the cushion and bed were both already attached under sheets and hence couldn’t be adjusted properly. This made it hard for me to breath and relax comfortably through the spa session. Overall, I could not relax my mind in this spa and neither did my body. I feel like I can massage better than the staff here..

One of the highlights of our day!
Jun 2018 • Couples
Our booking at the Renaissance through Luxury Escapes provided Hubby and I with eight 45min treatments at the onsite Quan Day Spa. Usually Hubby has a few then relinquishes what's left to me. But not this time!

Booking convenient appointment times was simple, we were always welcomed with smiles, fruit and his favourite "Ribena" beverage, and the actually facility was quiet, clean and serene, and the huge fish pond just added to the ambience. I tried the relaxing back, neck and shoulder oil massage, the foot/leg reflexology treatment, and the coconut cream body scrub twice. All were amazing and highly recommended. The outdoor shower during the scrub was in fact a highlight. Hubby had three Thai massages and an oil message, and raved about every single visit.

All of Quan's staff were polite, professional and generally concerned about your enjoyment. I was a little sunburnt but the staff just gave very gentle treatment and aftercare recommendations which were extremely helpful. And when the session was finished the tea and coconut cookies were such a treat.

I have read a few negative reviews of this spa and still cannot work out how the individual would be unsatisfied. Our experience was absolutely perfect every single time, and would undoubtedly recommend Quan Spa. Keep up the great work, and we hope to be back one day soon xx

Ask for Ja!
Dec 2016
I've been coming to this spa daily during my stay at the Renaissance hotel and the treatments have been good. However on my second last day, I met with Ja, who took the massage to the next level. She was amazing with her Thai massage and knew the exact pressure points and areas of tension. I would highly recommend Quan spa and in particular Ja for future customers!

Really Terrific Spa
Dec 2016 • Couples
Excellent spa and staff. Very serene spa with excellent massage therapists. Boutique store had some nice essential and massage oils that we purchased. A must visit if you stay in Mai Khao or at the Renaissance.

Service is unacceptable
Apr 2016 • Solo
I have tried other Quan Spa in Renasiaance property but none I have rated them poor service. The customer service is really poor here, no smile no greeting first word is "Yes?". I told the front desk lady I want to do a massage, she said "fully booked" and that's it!! I asked her when is available, she throw back the question to me when you want. After confirming the time, she put a hard cover book on the table and ask me to choose what massage and scrubs I want - not even recommending or explaining to me.
When I am there the next day for my appointment, she change her attitude totally and the reason being the spa manager is there.
And when I finished my treatments is about 8pm, her manager left she is back to her original self. She just tell me "Sign here, it has already charged to your room" not even bother to check if my treatment is ok.
This is the worst Quan Spa I've ever visited but the therapist is very friendly and they provide good massage. It's just the front desk, the hotel management should get to the root of the problem in order to provide their guests a good spa experience from the seconds we step into their spa.

Blissful
Dec 2015 • Family
I had the pleasure of visiting this spa when staying at Renaissance Phuket. I booked a 90 minute Aroma Fusion massage and experienced total bliss for 90 minutes. The therapist's strokes and pressure were firm and consistent. I highly recommend a visit to the Quan Spa.
