What we like about Alex Taxi - clear communication, honest, competitive pricing, on time, minivan in great condition, safe & sound private rides. Quick response via whatsapp which is very convenient.
I first contacted Alex via email and whatsapp. Alex himself replied and answered all my questions with clear English rather than impersonal/same response from couple other major vendors. I decided to use Alex Taxi for the airport transfer to the hotel.
After we had good experience with the first ride, we used them for the rest of private transports during the stay on the island. On the second ride, we asked Alex to stop by a fruit stand, also last minute request to drop us off at Old Phuket Town to allow us to shop for couple hours on a Sunday afternoon. He accommodated all our requests with smooth journey. On the last day in Phuket, we also used his service to get back to the airport.
BTW, we are four adults with several sm to med size of luggage. Each ride comes with minivan in great conditions and comfortable seats. Alex also drove us in one of multiple rides. We had nice chat with Alex. His other drivers are skilled, friendly and helpful with luggage.
We will be back next time we are in Phuket. Thanks Alex.

I nearly always hire a car for holidays but Thailand has one of the highest accident rates in the world so thought I would hire a taxi for trips when needed. Better to trust the professionals!
Having seen how they drive on Phuket - more like being in the middle of a motorbike race at times - the decision was fully justified and Alex Taxi was really reliable, professional, and reasonably priced.
We used Alex Taxi for airport transfers and two six hour day trips. All chaufers gave good insights into good places to see (example attached) and restaurants which were not expensive and authentic.
Communication was really dimply with WhatsApp - confirmations were rrally quick as well.
Thanks Alex for helping to make a great and safe holiday in Phuket!

A group of 30 of my friends and family came to Phuket to celebrate myself and two of my girlfriends milestone birthday. I reached out to Alex to provide a quote for the week we would be there each afternoon/night and found him to be extremely responsive and fair. He and his team were on time, patient and took extremely good care of us for the week that we were there. To ensure that there were no communication issues, he even made sure at least one of our drivers spoke English so that it would be easier for us to coordinate pick up based on where we went. I would highly recommend him and cannot stop raving about how thanks to him and his team he made things so easy for us.

We used Alex Taxi for all our taxi needs over 10 days we had 9 trips, from one end of phuket to the other. Pricing was the cheapest we found and always on time and relaible. vehicles were always people movers so plenty of room when our friends turned up unexpectadly and great vehicles.

We had 6 transfers with Alex Taxi during our 2 weeks holiday in Thailand (for 5 persons) and all were perfect. Even from beginning we communicated with Alex, the owner, very easily via whatsapp and he always answered very fast and very kind. During our trip we needed sometimes to change time or itinerary and he agreed with it with no problem. All drivers that he sent to us were very on time and driving smooth, doing our transfers very pleasant. All vans are very clean and with good AC. Good prices also.
We highly recommend this company and for sure we will use their service again, any time when we will visit Phuket in the future.

Alex Drivers are reliable and Alex himself is very responsive over whatapps. Excellent. U can trust them completely in timing and bringing you around safely.
However, a suggestion to Alex.
During airport pickup, I was expecting a card of my name at the airport pick up entrance like most pickup from hotels/ resort/ limousine service. To my surprise, i have to look for Alex driver” booth”
And found to my surprise my name pasted on the railings .. along with a list of other names.. like advertisement.
Traveling to so many countries.. first time experiencing this way of “ welcome”
If Alex can look into this.. I am sure yr service is 100% perfect.

I booked to Phuket in December ,as you know it is peek time ,so if you don’t want to lose any time looking for tours ,go for Alex Taxi . first day Alex send us his driver & he picked us from Airport -very professional ,on time -Air-conditioned bus ,clean , with cold water bottles . We booked 3 Days with Alex,James bond in the long boat 🚣♀️ this was wonderful experience with the kids ,adventure trip also was amazing and city tour ( tailed to your own preference) 😉,if you are planning to visit Phuket .Alex is your man .

We used Alex Taxi for 3 trips, airport to our Krabi hotel, Krabi hotel to Karon Beach Phuket and Karon Beach back to airport.
We connected Alex via WhatsApp to make all the arrangements and paid using a one time link before we left the UK.
On arrival at Phuket airport our name was displayed where we were told it would be, within 5-10 minutes we were in our taxi on our way, after our photos were taken (they do this at every step to ensure no complaints).
The second taxi was 15 minutes early which was great and the third was exactly on time.
I would throughly recommend Alex Taxi and would use again, hassle free!!

Alex and his driver provided good service. We booked a minibus from the airport to Big C and Kamala beach on 15th July. My name was written on the signage pasted near exit 2 of the airport. Alex was also prompt to my WhatsApp messages. Thank you for the beautiful service, Alex!

I contacted them via whatapps and got a reply instantly. Just provide my flight details and I was given a quotation. The booking is done without any hassle.
Arrival from airport
(1) I was told to go to a specific exit
(2) Saw my name written on a board near exit
(3) The driver appeared in 5 mins
(4) The ride was extremely comfortable
Departure from my hotel
(1) I was so lucky Alex asked me to leave more than 2 hours earlier
(2) Driver was there on time
(3) Delay along the way to airport (not the driver’s fault as there is heavy traffic)
(4) Check-in, go past security and barely have time to visit toilet before boarding
At the end of each trip, I made payment directly to the driver. Awesome service for Alex Taxi! I will definitely use them again

My parents (Matilde and Giuseppe PENTRELLI) will arrive on Monday, Feb. 10th at 10.45 a.m. with Flight No. SQ992 in Phuket and they would need a taxi to Katathani Resort at Kata Noi Beach.

I would like a price for a taxi from the airport to wyndham grand kalim bay resort on 1st february at around 9pm. then i would like a taxi to Au Po Grand marina on the 5th febrary at 9 am and return in the eveing around 7pm and then back again at 6.30am on the 7th feb. then a taxi to the airport from aoPo on the 10th february times might vary but the dates are fixed.

I really can’t remember the exact charge, but they were the cheapest and very reliable.
I pre booked my times giving them my flight details so they check with the airlines if there is any delays.
The vehicles were very clean.

Hi. Not sure of what Alex Taxi charge for this destination form Phuket airport. It could be about 2-3hr drive. Best if you send Alex Taxi a message. You can find him on facebook also.
If you have not booked your flights yet I suggest you fly into Krabi airport. Much quicker. Or depend when your flight arrive. If arrive late suggest you stay at cheap hotel near airport for a rest then drive the next day if you don't need to arrive to Krabi same night.
