This beach is so clean comparing to others I saw that we were pleasantly surprised. Water is not really transperent but still clear and has a good smell. Great amount of places to eat and hide from the sun. Good for calm vacation.

Agreed with other reviewers that the beach is safe, clean and quiet. If you want to sunbath peacefully, while sipping coconut and having ice cream desert, this is one of the better beaches around this island. The price for a pair of the lounge chair,...More

The Beach is very Quite and suitable for Children. Nice place to walk along the beach unlike the busy and crowded Patong Beach

Safe, clean and quiet. A good beach to worship the sun, walk along the water front or let the kids play in the sand or waves.

I liked this beach a lot. It's nice and clean and the water is blue and green. So nice. The sunsets are incredible though all mornings were great, too). just get a book and a glass of Mai Tai and you will feel amazing.

Dear fellow Trip Advisors, We return to Bang Tao in March every year (we got married at the Chapel on the Lagoon in Laguna) in 2013. Please can you advise if you know if 'Paul Restaurant' still remains around 200m North of the Movenpick hotel?? Many thanks Paul

Hi John, not sure about Paul's. there is one a short walk from Nick. about a 2min walk south called Tony's. It fits right on the beach. The food is amazing. Highly recommend it.

Hi, I'm thinking of going to Phuket, specifically Bang Tao Beach at the beginning of March. I've been reading lots of reviews on Sea Lice. Is it a big problem during March? And if so, what can I do to prevent it? Thanks

Go to swim in the morning when the water is not hot and you would not encounter sea lice! As simple as that!
