Sadly, Bangkok Media & Telecommunications has put up tolls booths to extort TBT100 to cross its land and gain access to a public beach. Just as sadly, none of that money is employed to improve BMT's access to the beach, which are broken, slippery stairs with rotting handrails. Disgraceful - My wife slipped on the way down. It's dangerous. Even... More

From the lookout it is a beach you feel you want to visit. Once you walked down there it is a bit less inviting but still seems like a cosy romantic place. The water was not too clean on our day and the beach has rocks and gravel also in most parts where you enter the water. Kind people though... More

I went there with my gf, and it was amazingly beautiful. Everyone suggested i go there and i did. I love the beach and the sand. It is not too much crowded (that's the good thing) and you can enjoy your day there. Although the stair are steep and hard. It was hard going down, hehe imagine you will go... More

I was at this beach 2011 when it was free to enter and cleaner than it is today. The way to the beach is ok on the way down but can be difficult for some people on the way up. The surface around the beach is not kept clean and the water is just average. The entrance is 100 baht.

I have been there at 8 am the day of my wedding, to relax. I didn't know what I will find, and was scared based on some previous comments. But I was totally amazed by what I found. I needed to relax before the event, and I have been to this incredible beach, early in the morning with no one... More

OK beach just up the road from Surin, there is a view point on the road up to Laem Sing...if your walking as we were you can access the beach some 200 metres past, you will see the bikes parked up and a small hut where you pay 100 bht for the privilege of of walking down some crappy steps to a... Fairly easy drive by scooter from Patong. 100TBH per person to access the beach. It's a very steep climb down - worse coming back up! But worth it. We sit at Rony's chairs. The group of chairs in the middle. He is very hospitable and makes sure your time is pleasant. Chairs 100TBH each or you can park on the... More

100 Baht to clamber down some steep uneven steps ( approx. 156) to reach a very secluded beach. Not an easy feat with a toddler and a pram! Snorkeling wasn't great, saw more in the rock pools - some anemones, sea cucumber and lots of small fish. I'm sure there are nicer and easier accessible beaches around.

Most of the Beach was washed away when we visited last week. We decided it wasn't worth the effort to go down there. I'm sure the sand will be back soon, but there is a viewpoint where you can check before you climb down.
