10/10 don't take the boat when the water is choppy. Extremely dangerous on boarding and offloading the boat.
One passenger in our group sliced her arm open enough to need stitches while another one ended up underneath the boat when a big wave came by. The boat hit her and knocked her underneath.
We've been multiple times when the water is pleasant and had no issues. Today we asked if it was safe, they said they would get a bigger boat and everything would be fine.
When our issues arose the lifeguard on Surin Beach refused to even give a plaster for the slit open arm.
We will definitely be proceeding with caution in the future as the boats are just dangerous depending on the tide and wave size.

Every year, we spend our winter vacations in Phuket. This year, this is our favorite beach, calm, peaceful, clean water, not crowded... There is only one restaurant beside beach with good food and service. Fully recommended!

It remain one of the most beautifull from the island. Go to surin beach, take a local boat(200 bath p/pers go and back), but you will find a very very nice heaven place. Even the ride by the boat is romantic.
I recomand you to visit it!!.
If you are with the kids you can take first some fruits or some soft chipper from any market before going with the boat. Is a free beach, and you can bring anything. If you didn t do it, you can find on the hill something to eat and also some drinks ( more expensive, but we all know why)
So, finally i recomand this pcs of heaven.
Sunset.....is a nice dream!!!

As the pass to the beach is quite challenging there are literally almost no one here. As well as no toilets and umbrellas. Though was nice to spend here couple of hours and then eat in the cafe situated here. Here i ate the most delicious rice with chicken as the owner brought me many different sauces and explained they were not spicy. Nice place for a one time visit

Sadly the owner of the land surrounding this beach has closed the access. We are staying at Surin Beach and picked today for the low swell, good weather etc to go only to find a big sign that our driver explained says closed for public access. As for all beach issues here the situation will probably change again but as of the 21st April 2017 you can't get across the private land to the beach.

Gorgeous beach and almost private given the road access has now been shut off. Access is via a boat from Surin beach but be prepared to get into waist high water to board! Cost is 200 baht return.

Snorkeling off the south end of the beach was great. Many beautiful fish.

The beach its self it 's beautiful . A big sandy bay with clear water . The problem is that is full of magrebine and French guys that put on very high music , scream make noisy and it s a nightmare . Impossible to relax . It's overcrowded
And there is a small monkey at the entrance that is alone and scared by tourists . How can be an animal treat like this ? Shame on who takes a life in this conditions !

I was excited to visit because of the reviews but rather surprised to have to pay 100Baht pp. I then reasoned that it's obviously well kept if one has to pay. My expectations where soon shattered. Walking down the littered stairs with broken rope as balustrade I realised there was an air of neglect about the place. Obviously if one focusses on this it amplifies the problem. I was trying to look past this as the beach setting is really stunning. We paid 150Baht for 3 lounges which was acceptable to us. I really do like chairs on the beach and they are not so freely available on Phuket beaches anymore. I started to look around at the various vendors under the trees and was surprised at the lack of care they had taken to make their areas welcoming and clean. I suppose if I hadn't paid 100Baht per person I would not have been so critical, But there was an expectation of a Blue Flag Beach Status and this beach in my opinion did NOT measure up

This beach is beautiful and a must see if you are in Phuket. Very few people, white sand, and clear blue water.
