Then too hot . Out from 4.00 pm ,cooler and packing up of beach loungers and picnics Then night birds come out at sunset ....a long night for many beneath the coconuts on the Beach RoadVisited February 2020Written February 10, 2020
- Graham B15 contributionsBits of everythingBeach Road is the ultimate experience in Pattaya. There is something for every adult with shopping malls, small market type shops. There are many bars of course and side streets with bars, massage parlours and restaurants. The promenade from late afternoon is strewn with "freelancers" - ladies out to give men a good time for low prices. The beach itself is not one to recommend however. For the unadventurous expat there are McDonalds and Starbucks.Visited February 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten February 11, 2020
- Paul COlive Branch, Mississippi65 contributionsPattaya Beach Road is busy: Maybe too busy. While Walking Street in Pattaya remains generally shuttered the Beach Road seems to have recovered from COVID. It has the same vibe as pre-COVID. Being able to stay in a hotel on the beach and cross the road for a day at the beach feels the same: though the Beach is notably more crowded than 10 years ago.Visited October 2022Written October 15, 2022

Si vous y aller la nuit, soyez accompagné sir vous marchez du côté de la mer car mal famée. A noter que la plage est de plus en plus petite année après année. One way street from North Pattaya to Walking street. If you go there at night, be accompanied if you walk on the sea side because it is infamous. - srimanoneJoshua Tree, California1,022 contributionsVERY DISAPPOINTING WALKWalk along here for the experience, but I would not engage with anyone. All want something from you and place is not suitable for walking after dark. Do not buy drugs here or engage in talks with ladies of the night. Plenty of other places that are safer for the tourist to stroll. Be careful and watch yourself.Visited January 2020Traveled soloWritten January 17, 2020

- gafrost97Bangkok, Thailand5 contributionsDefinitely a main staple attraction of PattayaI have been to Beach Road numerous times during my multiple visits to Pattaya. Beach Road isn’t really about the beach, or the road. It’s about the atmosphere that is created by both of them in this location. See it for what it is. Enjoy the parts you want to enjoy and avoid the parts you don’t. But definitely give it a visit. While you are there, I can recommend a wonderful spot to relax, have a bite to eat, and have a beer. Stop into stand #115 for fantastic service. Heck, you can even get a massage and have your nails done!Visited April 2021Traveled as a coupleWritten April 17, 2021
- Robert HBrighton, United Kingdom71 contributionsThere are much nicer beaches, try Jomtien, 20 minutes baht bus ride.If you're looking to spend a pleasant day on the beach, go to Jomtien beach. Even after the addition of what feels like builder's sand, this is not my idea of a pleasant beach. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, etc. but few are particularly attractive and quite a few are expensive.Visited April 2020Written April 5, 2020

The bars and the raz are better at night. Some obviously open all the time. Beach leads to walking street. Honestly not my scene but worthy of a look.
Too much disruption from road works that seem constant.
The bars and the raz are better at night.
Some obviously open all the time.
Beach leads to walking street.

yes indeed they will stop you despite having an International licence, you can't avoid that. What I do, if i get fined i ll carry the paper the whole day or 2 days, in between if the police will stop me, i ll show that i have already been fined and they ll let me go. usually the fine is 400 baht 10 usd.
