Not for animal lovers.

Well, where to begin? The monkey show is barbaric. The “trainers” looked about as friendly and approachable as a rabid dog and the monkeys looked terrified in their presence. The music accompanying the show was far too loud and added to further frightening the animals.

The elephants, to be fair, looked well fed and relatively happy. There is a little loop around the buildings which they walk around. I didn’t partake.

I appreciate that everyone needs to make a living and this is obviously a Thai family business which has been going for some time. But in the age we now live in, I feel this sort of establishment should simply not exist.

I left feeling sad and more than a little depressed.

WASTE OF LIFE

We did the monkey show, crocodile feeding, and elephant pictures.

The monkey show is 10 minutes. I've seen the show before in Phuket, and it was pretty much the same thing. In Phuket, the monkey sits in your lap and plays with your hair and takes pictures. Here, you can't touch them. It costs 300 bhat.

Crocodile feeding is a joke. All the crocs are motionless. You're given a stick with some meat tied at the end of a string to dangle for them to eat. You have to put the food in their mouth to get a rise, and the meat just comes off. It costs 200 bhat.

The elephant photos are nice, 50 bhat for photos with a small one, 100 for a large one with tusks. The elephant picks you up with its trunk.

We saw the other activities, horse drawn carriages, elephant trekking, etc., and saw the same delivery.

If you just want pictures with (or near) animals, this is good. If you're looking for a memorable experience, stay away!

You will like it if you not expect something extraordinary. Actually it look like some local family catch some monkeys in jungle and made a show on a backyard :)

Actually it look like some local family catch some monkeys in jungle and made a show on a backyard :) But i like things like this - real, without pathos for 5 star's snobs. Show is pretty fun and you can feel yourself a kid again. You can be a part of a show and you will because not many people go there so everyone can participate. Only one problem - the route there. This place is not too far from center of Pattaya but must go by Sukhumvit what everybodies hates. If you have a motorbike - not a big deal, if not - use song thaeo (about 20 thb)

A real dud...

Really short show with minimal value. 2 trainers were ok, but the 3rd (with beetle nut stained teeth) was a bit too rough for my tastes. I think the animal rights crowd was a bit too rough on a few of the other places in the area, but this place has elephant ride and little horses that pull carts for rides and the conditions were less than optimal.
