- TAIN2013Riyadh, Saudi Arabia2,877 contributionsDown to earth mall with a cinema and food courtThe low profile mall has a large plaza in front of it. The plaza is home to a night market and is beautifully lit up at night. There are many restaurants and bars on the ground floor. The food court is more like a street food market. Unlike some of the luxury shopping malls, this is a more down-to-earth place where normal people can actually buy things. It also has a cinema if you are tired and want to watch some movies.Visited August 2019Written April 8, 2020
- isnakebiteMilton Keynes, United Kingdom673 contributionsStill go for a meal and a movieSee previous review. Only noticeable changes were that the pool hall has gone and the Villa supermarket inside has expanded. Lots of renovation going on on the ground floor and shops starting to be kitted out so no surprise if they are filled by November. Still worth going for date night.Written September 28, 2014
- isnakebiteMilton Keynes, United Kingdom673 contributionsA hidden gem for a couples’ night outFrom the years I’ve been visiting the Avenue has never appeared to have reached its full potential. Never have I ever seen all the vacant units full of shops. Previous years have seen attempts have seen a floor of phone stalls but with Tuk.com that didn’t last long and the small night market that flowed around the edges now remains at the front on 2nd road. There was a time when you could drink from the Chang dispensers at the bottom in the open area of the court. Even the ‘Tourist information’ booth has been uprooted. On this visit I was curious to find out why part of the 2nd floor was closed off but the security guard would not reveal anything. The mall offers a supermarket, banks, McDonalds, Starbucks, salons, Boots chemist and a bookshop but the main attractions are the cinema, bowling, pool and a couple of restaurants and drink establishments. Which never appear overly busy but one would presume busy enough for them to remain.Visited December 2013Traveled as a coupleWritten January 8, 2014

Struggling since its original construction. The Avenue is 1/2 empty with street vendors parked everywhere and taking up most of the open ground area. McDs, Starbucks and the grocery store—-I believe—are the few original vendors to remain since it’s original construction. Robinhood is the only eatery within mall worth visiting—-see separate review.

Few outlet stores. Bowling alley, cinema few restaurants and big supermarket, plenty of parking and centrally located. It’s always changing and now with a big new food court. Plenty to choose.

This 'mall' is really an open air spread of shops and gaps where shops were probably supposed to be. After the highs of Central Festival, this place was a serious disappointment. It is dirty, empty, and tired. Skip it.

I used to like a salon they had there but it closed down. Most of the shops are vacant. They have many small market shops at night with some bars also

This is a smaller open-air mall with mostly clothing and shoe outlet stores, a limited amount of restaurants, a cinema and a bowling alley.
When I visited around 5:30 PM the place felt a bit deserted and lots of the shops are vacant. When you're looking for a more downscale mall compared to Terminal 21 or Central Pattaya, you might enjoy this, but if you're looking for an impressive air-conditioned indoor mall with lots of brand and product choices, this is not the place to visit.

The owners have spent fortune installing the very latest exercise equipment but need to make only a few small improvements to their organisation and management to make this the best in Pattaya.
Charges are very reasonable at just Bahts 1600 a month, but why charger an extra Bahts 100 for a membership card. This charge should only be for replacement cards!
New members are not assessed on arrival. They should be asked if they are here for exercise, or for for health reasons? The staff should then be able to show them the equipment to suit their requirements. I was there following a stroke, but there was no attempt top help me find the most suitable equip, ent.
There are hundreds of lockers available, but members must go out and buy their own padlock. This is is ridiculous as they only cost Bahts 25!
Showers are available but no soap or towels. They should be renting out fresh towels and making money on them. Showers at other gyms have liquid soap dispensers fitted. Why not here?
Most gyms have paper towel dispensers and spray bottles of disinfectant available so that members can wipe down the seats and handles of equipment after use, buty not here. This is good health and safety.
Finally, there is a wasted area at the bottom of the escalators that should be a coffee bar serving smoothies and .energy drinks. making money for the business.

Shops are closing down, few cafes and restaurants have left on top of major cineplex movie complex (the best in pattaya by the way, much cheaper and quieter than sf). Villa market grocery may be one of the reasons to come here (have some items not available in tops supermarkets).
