Dont go here.

When we went to this place we thought it was a elephant sanctuary. It is not a sanctuary based on what I witnessed. I felt it was cruel to see the elephants being chained when they were not giving rides to tourists. They were charging $600 baht for 30 min and $1200 baht for 1 hour. They also had hook looking objects to tap the elephant. I feel ashamed and saddened at how i felt the animals were treated. They tried to sell us bananas, photos and videos. The guy tried to sell ivory too which i believe is not allowed. There were lions there too but they didnt look well. I would avoid this place. Go to an actual Elephant sanctuary. Even if it costs more the funds I believe will go to a better cause then going to this place. They have other activities such as paintball but from what they do to animals I wouldn't go there.

Do not go here! Elephants and tigers drugged and abused!
Sep 2019 • Family
We went here unknowingly sold by a local tour operator. Price seemed reasonable - 1400baht for 2adults + 2 young children. Including hotel pick up drop off.
This place is just around the corner from southern Pattaya and not as far as the tour operators make it seem. They say it’s far to gain price/value.
Could have easily gone by taxi by ourselves for cheaper I think.
Upon reaching, we were rushed to taste some dried coconut by an old man at the entrance who was pushy to make us buy there product. We declined.
Then they pushed bananas for 100baht to feed the elephant. I didn’t mind but bananas were in a plastic bag. After opening it later, found half of them dried up and black /hard.
There are several large tigers and young lions in separate CAGES. A lot of the tigers and leopard were definitely drugged as they slooped for another tourist to take photos with.
They rushed us past these tiger cages as they either didnt want us to see or wanted us to pay for seeing them?
You pass all these cages and reach the elephant ride area, there appeared to be 4 older elephants and they didn’t seem too happy. Just overworked .
The place has made a makeshift up and down track for elephants to walk on around the property passing peoples houses, loads of rubbish and dumped construction material!
This is not a park or a sanctuary by any means! It is a makeshift area to house these elephants close to Pattaya to gain visitors!
The mahouts were least interested and clearly over their job and had no love for the animal in any way.
On the 30 min ride, we were left with such mixed feelings as we definitely knew this was wrong and our money just assisted their cause further but on the other hand our little boys were so excited to see an elephant for he first time.
Sad it had to be this way.
Halfway down the ride, the mahout asks me if I would be interested to buy any “elephant teeth”
As I clearly know ivory trade is banned and illegal in most parts of the world- I clearly said no thanks.
He insisted and brought a box of what appeared to be necklaces in ivory etc.
I removed my phone quickly and even have video evidence of him pushing ivory sales to me!
Wasn’t happy!
This place needs to be SHUT DOWN and government of Thailand needs to rescue all these animals.
They are not meant to be in 4x4 cages and drugged 24x7 for tourists to take photos.
Such a sad place!
DO NOT GO HERE!
After the ride they even sell video footage for 500baht and photos for 100baht each.
They rushed us back to to the taxi so quickly after the ride like they are trying to hide all the abuse!
This place goes by several names by local tour operators and they avoid using the real name as they know tourists would have read the reviews! They sell it to you as “elephant safari” “elephant trekking” and other names.
I have marked the location of this place for others to be careful off!

Shameful - avoid this place that promotes animal cruelty.
Aug 2019
We decided to visit this place thinking we'd find elephants wandering relatively freely as one might expect from a safari experience. Indeed, it was advertised to us as an elephant sanctuary. However, the elephants were chained by the foot when not carrying tourists. I am ashamed now to admit that we had we had an elephant ride and witnessed the elephant guides hitting the elephants with metal pointed sticks to keep them on track. The guides and the workers taking photos and videos were friendly and we weren't harrangued into buying anything - needless to say we didn't buy anything. As we made our way towards the exit we noticed two clearly sedated lions chained by their necks in a small cage where a woman was sat between them feeding them meat. There were toucans tied by their leg to an open enclosure and worst of all horses that didn't appear to have water or food who looked starved, their ribs very visible, and looking distinctly sad and weak. The animals were kept right next to a shooting range which can only cause further distress. Their enclosures were dirty and the keepers were sat next to their enclosures not doing much other than looking at their mobile phones as opposed to actually looking after the animals!
Avoid this place - it is a con and a disgrace.

Shooting

Expensive but worth it. Save yourself some money and pre book at an agent on 2nd road Pattaya. Picked up and dropped off in air con taxi. Instead of 1500 prepaid it was 1900 for 25 shots once there. Don’t bother with the photos just get the memory stick it’s all on there. Nice pistols 9mm and .45 in excellent condition. Pump action shotgun again excellent. Ended up costing 6500 with photos video and a tip to the instructor. Compared to other shooting venue reviews in Pattaya it really was very good for a novice like me.

AVOID
Apr 2019 • Friends
We got dropped off here on the way to another place and it was the most disgusting place I have ever seen. Lions are sedated and locked in cages. The workers were throwing lighters at the toucans beaks and grabbing them by their throats and laughing about it. Elephant rides are cruel. Don't give any money to this place!!

Fun activity at a price
Jan 2019 • Couples
Wow lots of stuff to do here. All quite pricey. Free taxi from your hotel is nice though. We tried the elephant ride. Calling it treking is over stating it a bit as its on mainly prepared trails. Don't forget to tip and buy lots of extras. Come prepared to spend a lot on photos videos and all sorts of stuff. Lots of other activities see photos too. But a fun way to spend a few hours out of Pattaya.
Only sad point why all the plastic and litter left on the trail that could be cleared up so easily

My husband and I are always looking for unique things to do. This was one of them. We were not expecting to bathe them or anything, just a simple ride and feeding. There was a variety of other things to do there. I did the "Angry Bird" . It was awesome.

Chang Thai Thappraya Zoo( 2 various attractions)
Aug 2018 • Solo
Most of the people gets confused if they could not find any animals in Thapparaya Park.Remember, there are two places in Pattaya,if you want to thrill adventure sports then go Thaparaya Adventure park which is 20KM(approx) from the city. Other hands if you want to take photos with Wild animals (White Lion,White Tiger,Leopard,Tiger) then there is one more Zoo (Same Company) inside the city which is near to Underwater World. The Zoo is named as Nooitang Zoo( pls, make sure about the name).
