Had a great time. Booked the “fun” tour which is intended for beginners because I wasn’t sure how “adventurous” my husband would want to be. About half way through, one of the guides offered a bit more fun and only asked for a tip at the end. I took him up on the offer and didn’t regret it! Although very dusty during January, it was so much fun! Would definitely book the more adventurous tour next time.

I was bought this experience as a birthday present and went with a friend. Although I had been on an ATV before it was nothing like these ones. The ATV’s they have here are unbelievable machines. Even as an experienced off road biker this was totally different and great fun. Routes that I had been up on my bike, were a new challenge. Extremely impressed with the organisation, the attention to safety and the guides were great and super helpful.
I would absolutely recommend them and when I go back won’t hesitate to use them again.

Everything was organized very well, pick up from the hotel, introduction to atv, the trek we did was spot on what it comes to difficulty (I have driven atv once in my life and snow mobiles lots of times), food was ok, enough water and return back to hotel. I liked the safety details, like on public roads the second guide went to stop the fraffic. Only two negatives, the seat of the atv was very hot (maybe normal due the heat) and there were lots of flies in the place where we ate the burgers (flies are part of nature but this problem can also be reduced by buying a electric fly trap). I recommend the tour I took to everyone who likes to drive atvs. If you have any previous experience about atvs or motorcycles or snow mobiles, take the ultimate tour, the other one is too easy. Well organized day, nice people, I had a great time! Thanks!

We took the ultimate ATV adventure tour. If you are an experienced rider, I suggest upgrading to the private tour. Too many people do not reas the description and have little or no ATV experience and you will only be able to do the trails that meet their experience level.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The trails were mainly thru farm land. There was quite a bit on on road riding to get to the off road trails.
We would book again, but definitely the private tour.

Hi Ginger thanks for your review, yes a private tour us best if you want to experience the tour with less people, hopefully we will get more stars next time.

One of the worst experiences. Let's start with the instructors who don't know a word in English. We will continue in very old vehicles with poor maintenance, it is dangerous to drive them. It is not surprising that one broke down on the way.
The guides did not go one at the beginning and the other at the end, which caused us to almost get lost. In the end we stopped on a dangerous slope and they came to rescue us.
A boring route and even though I told the guide to switch to something more advanced, it didn't help.

Booked the VIP tour on line...paid our 20% deposit...and thus began our worst experience with an activity in Pattaya. We three arrived excited for our private VIP ATV adventure...imagining fast and fun rides. No smiles greeted us, just a gal named Yum Yum who didn't know how to smile....just a hand out for our remaining 80% payment. Later explained to us that she must have been having a bad day. We saw many many ATV's...so many that it was clear this wasn't a small custom type company. They then
lied about the VIP tour being a custom ride...and lumped us for 2 hours with a "Fun group" consisting now of 12 ATV's on one ride....far far too many. (later explained to us that they were short staffed so had to do this). The ride was awful.....riding extremely slow to insure that the last rider was always in sight.....waiting every 5 or 10 minutes for the last rider to be seen around a curve. Having 10 of 12 bikes stuck in a water mud hole that was not scouted resulting in each being towed out one by one....that took almost 30 minutes of the 2 hours. SLOW......CONSTANT STOPS....TOTALLY TOTALLY BORING.
After the two hours the "Fun group" was done....and we continued for another 50 minutes
with one guide on a good ride with just the three VIP. But only 50 minutes worthwhile on a 4 hour VIP Adventure? I asked to see the owner to complain....but Yum Yum advised me that would not be possible. To top it off....they put us in a van for the ride back to the hotel and delivered us to the wrong hotel several miles from our destination....after several stops we made it back in an hour.....not 20 minutes. The owner of this tour did answer my e-mail and did give us back our 20% deposit......but I am out the 80% payment for the three of us......and wasted most of a day on the MOST BORING ATV ACTIVITY we ever experienced (far far worse than in Phuket or Cambodia. Do yourself a favor and book with another company or skip the ATV activity. I know the owner will not be happy with this review......but you cheated us......you knew you were "short staffed" yet you told us nothing that day and just lumped us on one long boring 15 ATV caravan (3 guides/12 paying guests).....and just stayed home and counted your money....unavailable. I believe our rides were much more enjoyable in Phuket and Cambodia because the owner was more engaged....took pride in what he offered every day......they didn't have to give excuse after excuse. Too many excuses and it becomes the norm.

I have been with enduro madness for the third time. Last two years i did the full day dirt bike tour and it was a really great expirience, but last time the tour was a little beyond my abilities. I fell of the bike last time and hurt my shoulder, but that was my own fault.

So this time i went, with two friends, for the atv 4 hour vip tour for savety reasons.

First off all the tour start was delayed because the first atv I was assigned did not start at all. So it was 15 minutes past three when we finally started.

So far no problem things like this happen from time to time.

But during the tour two more atvs broke because they lacked water in the radiator. So we had to wait for about 45 minutes for replacements during the tour.

It is beyond me why they did not check all liquids before we went off.

We came back to the base at 17:45, so we had an effective riding time off only 1:45 hours. Again i booked the 4 hour vip tour!

So we asked for partial refund and thats when they got unprofessional.

We where offered 10% and a free shirt ....

The shirt is included anyway guys. I already have two from my previous bookings.
They claimed the shirt is only included if you pay online via paypal.

Because i had some trouble with paypal we payed the full amount cash onsite so they already saved the paypal comission.

Luckily one of the other riders had a thai friend who was able to negotiate a 20% refund for us (and no shirt)

Again thing like this should not happen but sometimes everything goes wrong.

But a professional takes responsibility if he screws up things....

Till now enduro madness has been on my list every time i'm in pattaya.

Not anymore

After this unprofessional treatment i will never ever come back and i can't recommend the atv tour to anybody.

Sorry guys

Dear Frank B, I'm sorry that your 3rd time with us was not good. You mention the first two times were great but unfortunately we didn’t get a review on those two occasions. Unfortunately, 99% of happy customers never bother to make a positive review whereas 99% of unhappy customers can’t wait to get to a computer and stick the knife in. You only have one review to your name so it appears you set up a TripAdvisor account solely to have a go at us which I hope has made you feel much better? It is also worth noting that we have never had a 4 hour ATV tour so I think there must have been a misunderstanding there. ATV’s do break down from time to time and usually, the ATV that breaks down gets swapped over immediately with our support rider’s ATV so there is little interruption to the tour however if two ATV’s break down there can be further delays of which we apologise for.

Where to start really

Booked on the website, went for 4 hour VIP trip on ATV, website clearly said they had availability, you'll know what I mean if you try and book it

Suppose to get picked up at 14:00, so sat in lobby of hotel, at 14:10 I rang the company, they gave me some story about the guy who sorts the booking wasn't in, couldn't really understand what she was going on about, she then said would I come the following day, told her no I had other plans, so anyway she then said they could sort me and a bus was coming

Eventually got to them by 15:10, so over an hour late. Got an ATV and off I went, me and my mate, with our guide

3-4 minutes into the ride my bike broke..... guides phone wouldn't work so had to use my phone..... to ring a Thai number, so more cost on my part, 20-25 mins later a buggy arrived, I was asked would I take it and they would get me another ATV along the route. Now realising it actually nobody's fault that my ATV broke I said ok, as long as it's not for long, the guy agreed and off we went. 10 minutes later we meet up with another group and the same guy who told me I was getting an ATV was there again, in a bigger buggy, he then told me to use that one, so I got in again and off I went

After an hour we stopped, I asked my guide where the ATV was what I was promised as I'd clearly stated I DIDN'T want a buggy, he just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know, at this point I knew that I wasn't getting one, told him I wasn't happy, but carried on

Got back, had the chicken burger, which was awful, get the burger, not that I actually know if this is nice, as me and my mate both had the chicken!!!

And it was done by 18:20

An hour late, didn't get what I asked for, food was crap, guide was a nice lad, but we travelled way too slow considering there was just me and my mate, 20mph most of the time

Complete and utter waste of money

We did the 4 hour VIP tour. We have done ATV tours in other countries and this was not very exciting. If you are looking for a leisure ride on an ATV in farmland, then you will enjoy this tour.

We booked the tour online and paid via paypal. We never received a pick-up time or confirmation from the company, so we had the hotel call to verify we were scheduled. The pick-up was on time.

One of the biggest complaint we had was that there was no explanation of the areas we would be going through and the guides did not speak English.

Also, the brochure references a pool for a swim and we did not see nor were we offered use of a pool.

This was a great time, in spite of how my story may seem, my buddies and I did the 2 hour tour on 29 August 2013, and we had a great time, that is up until I crashed my ATV, now let me add, and this is very important; the crash was all my fault, nothing to do with an equipment problem, or bad terrain, it was simply testosterone gone wild, I was hot dogging it, plain and simple.

We were pretty much at the end of the tour, which really did take you through and around some incredibly beautiful scenery, including a very nice spot where you take a break at the halfway point, anyway, back to the crash, towards the end of the tour I took a turn too fast and flipped my ATV, now let me tell you; I was in a lot of pain, unbeknownst to me at the time was that I had broken my arm, again, please remember this was all my fault, if you don't act like an idiot you will not break anything more than a smile. So as I was saying, I was in a lot of pain, the guide gave me his bike and he rode my damaged one back, and in spite of having a broken arm and bruised ego and ribs, not to mention road rash, all I could think about on the ride back was: how much is this going to cost me, because we've all heard the nightmare stories of tourist being held basically hostage until they pay outrageous damage fees, well not here. And in spite of being admonished by the guide to take it easy, that this was not a race, and that if we damaged the bike all parts had to be imported and were very expensive, when we got back the manager told me not to worry, and she proceeded to clean my wounds, and then she explained to me that the parts that were damaged could be repaired and others modified from parts available locally, and proceeded to charge me less than USD$30.00, and no, there are no 0's missing or misplaced decimal point, they charged less than thirty US dollars, it seemed like she used more than that from their first aid kit.

The next time I am in Pattaya I will take this tour again, I hope you will too, think about it, I crashed and I am still looking forward to doing it again, imagine how great a time you will have if you don't act like an idiot the way I did!
