Great job! The producers should be proud.
This 90 minutes impressive grand show performs at SINGHA D’LUCK Cinematic Theatre, the notable glittering building that looks levitate in air!
Theme of the show is about the adventure of a young man (Mr.Kaan) who fell into the fantasy world of Thai literature through the book and his quest to collect all parts of the broken key which brought him back home.
Every scenes are magnificent. All dedicated performers are amazing. For ones who used to read Thai literature, that's really hits home! (For ones who don't, this show is still awesome).
Taking photo is not allowed during the show, but ones can take some photos with performers and scenes after the show (extra 100 bath/person with unlimited photos). Furthermore, there are many cutie souvenirs sold in the shop.
Luckily, there was a promotion "buy 1 get 1 free" at the time when we attended (best value, should follow their facebook to find some promotion).
A big thumbs up to this 5 stars world-class show ! Truly recommend.

UnderWater world has sort of created these underwater tunnels to give you the feeling as if you are with and below the sea to witness these beautiful fishes and walk through it. Had 3 Sections - Coral, Giant Siam and StringRay and followed by jellyfish zone. watch out for the feeding times.Again good place to spend few hours. Check out the feeding time Refreshment section at this place near exit, I found a bit unclean and dingy and the staff at refreshments rather rude and unwilling

Kaan is a wonderful story about a boy and his adventures. Great use of props and technology to really bring the story to life.International standard has acrobats, elephants, special effects, giant robot flying monsters aerial performers all done to a traditional Thai mythological story with a few modern gags thrown in.
Do not miss this show when in pattaya excellent show for the family and all ages including adults who will enjoy it also.

Loved it... so did my 11 years old son. Definitely better than Tiffany/Alcazar which are more of "talk talk" and Kaan has some great dynamic effects, especially the flying dragon in the opening scene.
A bit of a trade-off was the show is completely mute... no spoken dialogues by characters. Its a nice way to make the show homogeneous for English/Thai/Chinese as anyone can "see" without bothering to understand the language but some may find it a bit "incomplete" without any dialogues.
A spectacular show otherwise.
Also book it online as it comes cheaper. Had no hassle getting my e-voucher converted to tickets at the counter.

Won't say too much. Money well spent. Won't spoil anything. Get a nice central seat. The cheapest seats are excellent. The most expensive seats a bit wider and a bit further away from the action. The two middle price tiers not recommended.

To enjoy this show at its most seamless execution of projection-mapping, which synchronises live action with cinematic and CGI effects to create a hybrid of jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring transitions, one really needs to get the central, most expensive seats, but there are reductions available to international audiences during the low season. Instead of Philip Pullman’s The Golden Compass, you have here the Book of Kaan :Thai folklore and mythology rendered the Cirque du Soleil treatment. One can just envisage the hours of rehearsal, the precision of movement and perspective, the relentless attention to detail and the meticulous orchestration of a huge creative team to ensure everything proceeds according to clockwork. And indeed the 90 minutes do fly by in scenes of eyepopping and awe-inspiring wonder, via amazing costumes, choreography, lighting and special effects. A pity about the plot, however, which is lame and simplistic and “infantilises” its audience by being devoid of the subtle allegories and analogies of shows by the cirque du soleil. It’s a spectacle alright but hardly thought-provoking, though perhaps mindless entertainment is its sole intent.

I was so appalled to see live elephants performing circus tricks I walked out and demanded my money back. I was told there would be a 15% service charge. I explained firmly that not one bht of our money would go towards an organisation abusing elephants in this way. We received a full refund. Boycott this dreadful show.

I’m currently watching the show right now.
Live elephants and blackface.
I truly, wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this show. Do NOT support this kind of despicable, thoughtless and harmful tourism. KAAN should be ashamed.
This is damaging for the Pattaya and Thai community.
This memory will be one I will hate for the rest of my life.

I read all the promotional material for this show and I found it to be the worst and most expensive show I’ve ever attended. From start to finish it was simply terrible. I’m a big Cirque fan and have seen most of their shows throughout the world. Karan was advertised as a this great cirque type show and it wasn’t. It consisted of people fighting and killing with mythical creatures. Apart from a small segment of silk flyers it was really terrible. I’m really sorry that write such a terrible review but in all honesty it was really terrible. The most expensive ticket was 4000 Baht or around $120 USD OR $153AUD OR £92. Even the cheapest discounted ticket was $45 USD OR $57 AUD OR £34 and you are sitting in the furtherest away seats. Save your money and get a vip seat at the Coliseum show. It’s better value and more entertaining.

Dear Mr. David H.
Thank you very much for taking your time and giving us the useful review. We sincerely regret to know that our show could not impress you.
We are also a big fan of Cirque du Soleil. Their shows and all talented performers are our great inspiration. From the day we started our “KAAN” project, we have tried to create a new and unique show that is different and never exists in Thailand, especially in Pattaya. We had spent over 3 years of training and preparation in all details needed before we launched our show. Therefore, we could not compare ourselves with the great shows of Cirque du Soleil. And if any of the information has mislead you that “KAAN” is a show that highlights on performers’ skills in the same way of Cirque, we do apologise.
KAAN is a story of a young man who got himself into an amazing world of adventures. In addition to make the show even more fun and exciting, we add a variety of world class technologies such as Projection Mapping on over 1,000 sqm, 12 meter-long Junk Ship, Animatronics, 8 meter-tall Robot, large size of Puppets and Marionettes, etc., combined with our 90 talented performers and 200 backstage crews. This means that we have approximately 300 people working together to run this spectacular show. Regarding these details, we trust that our starting price of THB 2,500 (THB 1,800 after 20% discounted for tourists) is reasonable.
In particular, our VIP seating zone (THB 4,000) was designed to be in the middle of the Theatre in order to be the best location of Projection Mapping since you can experience a whole throughout the show, including perfect lights and sound. However, this seating arrangement is probably different from the other shows where the VIP zone might be next to the stage in order to be close to the performers.
As far as we concern, there are many great shows around Pattaya such as Tiffany, Alcazar, and Colosseum, which they all have good reputation in this business. Since “KAAN” is a new show in Pattaya, we continue to improve our show and services in all aspects to be one of the successful businesses in long term. Consequently, comments and feedbacks are very important that reflect the needs of improvement from audiences’ viewpoint.
We hope that KAAN Show can be one of your most favorite and impressive shows someday in the near future.
Once again, we appreciate your constructive review.
Best regards,
The Management Team
