Real Divers is a British PADI 5 STAR IDC Center and we run dive and snorkeling trips to the Pattaya coal islands 9am to 2pm. We also run all PADI certification courses from beginner such as PADI Open water diver to Professional ratings. We run our daily trips from our large 12 metre speedboats which is great for snorkelers and first time divers as we can get our speedboat to shallow water where you can stand up. For first time divers (no need to be a swimmer) we run the discover scuba diving experience where you get to dive a shallow coral reef with a dive Instructor and have a great chance to see large turtles and many other fish/marine life. The PADI Open water course is the first certification course and takes 3 days to complete. The Open water course has elearning so you can complete the knowledge side of the course and exams online at your own speed so when you turn up for the in water training it's all diving complete (1 day pool, 2 days ocean diving completing 4 coral dives.

Friendly, professional, dive centre. As I was in Pattaya, Thailand I decided to book a days diving. After some research I decided to go with Real Divers. Deposit paid by bank transfer. The price of 3 dives was the same as some other dive companies were asking for 2 dives. On my arrival at the dive centre, I received a friendly welcome from staff sitting outside, on entering the shop again a warm welcome from the owner. My qualifications and dive log checked and I was handed over my pre booked dive kit.
The dive centre had a very friendly family atmosphere with nothing too much trouble.
The company's own modern dive boat was waiting for us just across the beach from the dive centre. We received a good safety dive brief with our first dive to 22 mtrs for 39 minutes on the USA landing craft HTM Mataphon (excuse spelling). Visibility was limited as it was at the end of the rainy season but around 5 to 10 mtrs. During the dive and from almost every angle were shoals of thousands of fish. the second and third dives were just short of 10 mtrs for over 55 minutes each, on two different coral gardens, turtles and blue spotted rays amongst other sea life. Water, snacks and large ham salad bread cake were provided during the surface intervals. Luke our dive guide was excellent. Our return to the shore and dive centre was seamless. Really recommend this dive company.

The Reef Seeker dive boat is ideal to dive from as we can get you to the dive sites very quickly and allows you to get into the water and enjoy the dives. An absolutely fantastic 2 dives with Real Divers. Neil’s team are awesome. Super friendly. Great sandwiches. Professional and relaxed diving. 20 mins to dive site by speedboat versus 2 hours by larger boat with other dive companies. Highly recommended ..,

My family and I had a fantastic experience with 'Real Divers'. We cannot recommend them enough. Neil and his team were so welcoming, from the first phone-call to the dive itself. We decided on a beginner Scuba session as half our family had a little experience and half were complete beginners. My wife and I took our two girls aged 11 and 13 and paid 1500baht extra for a private speedboat for ourselves and instructors so that we could take things at our own pace. The dive shop was easy to find and the boat picked us up on Jomtien beach (5mins walk from the dive shop). James and Stan, our superb instructors filled us with confidence and explained each step with patience and clarity. We were able to do the initial skills in a shallow bay on Koh Larn before our second dive further out over the coral. Lunch and snacks were provided, plus lots of friendly chat and excellent service. We know Thailand well and had had a few recommendations of various dive companies. So glad we chose this one. Thanks to all.

5/5 It was such a great experience. Neil and everyone were just excellent in each way of exhaling all little details of the system of diving. I really enjoyed this time, and finally, I took the diving license. Zoi and Ross are amiable, open-minded instructors that I can recommend for everyone interested in diving:)!

I've recently passed my PADI Open Water Diver with Real Divers and I could not recommend them highly enough.
My family have been willing me to take up diving for years but I have always been too apprehensive and put it off. This time though, I finally decided to bite the bullet. Peter was very helpful in helping me to select the appropriate course.
I chose to do the theory online via PADI eLearing, which meant I could complete the course in 3 days, leaving enough time between my final dive and my flight.
The first day was the confined water diving with Neil and "Peaky", who did a great job at explaining everything in an easy to understand way which helped to settle any nerves.
The second day was the open water dives 1 and 2 with James and "Peaky". I must admit I did panic slightly on the first descent, but again the guy's did a brilliant job of calming me down which allowed me to really enjoy the rest of the diving that day.
The final day of diving was with James and Neil. Having completed dives 1 and 2, for me, after completing the required skills, today was really about trying to control my buoyancy and breathing techniques. By the end of the dive I didn't want to leave the water.
All the guys at Real Divers are so easy to talk to and get along with, and what stands them out is that safety is always their number one priority and they really want you to pass the course, not just for them but for you. I am extremely appreciative of the everyone at Real Divers for helping me to achieve something that I didn't know I would be able to do. I would encourage anyone who is apprehensive as I was, to just go for it, you won't regret it.
I have to mention Kat as well, who picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation each day, and collected the food. She is so nice and easy to get along with - we had a really good laugh every day. Also, if you decide to take the life changing decision to take up diving with Real Divers, please bring a refillable water bottle so you don't have to use the plastic bottles of water provided.

Thank you for the great review about your Padi Open water course. Neil and Peaky are very good team and you will have a lot of fun as you learn to scuba dive with them. The team work very hard to make sure everyone has a cool day out on the boat with plenty of good advice about scuba diving and the local dive sites plus the joke as well lol. I have been doing my advanced open water course with the guys at Real Divers the past two days, and what an amazing team they are! As well as having a good laugh and a joke, they were extremely professional and safe. They take their time with every individual on board and make sure you’re all comfortable before, during and after the dive.
I would really recommend this company to anyone in the area, i have never done a review but felt like it was needed due to how impressed i was!

Hi to all divers out there thinking about diving in Thailand, here is my review of Real Divers.
I spent some time online looking at dive centers\courses\prices in Pattaya, Thailand.
I made a great choice and fully recommend Real Divers to anyone who wants to enjoy hassle free, good diving with a great team of professional divers.
Really enjoyed meeting everyone and completing the PADI Advanced Open Water course. I learnt a lot, with each dive being more enjoyable than the last! Lots of fun and very addictive.
Here are a few great things about Real Divers:
Quick email response to initial course questions.
Good dive shop location on local bus route.
Just amazing - a very short walk from dive shop, across a road, onto beach and onto the dive boat - easy!
Modern dive gear in good order.
Quick safe boat trip to dive sites.
Expert, patient and friendly team - with clear instruction, help and guidance above and below the surface.
Plenty of water\snacks to keep you fueled up!
So to conclude... make sure you enjoy a cold beer! and book some diving next time you are visiting Pattaya\Jomtien\Bangkok. You will get to enjoy some more fun and adventure with a great dive team.

On December 5th I went on beginners scuba dive day. I really felt great at end of day. The instructors were awesome. Good detailed explainations in English. Every clear to understand. I felt very safe. The places we diver were beautiful and there was a variety of fish to see on the two dive sports. Each dive is about 45- 50 minutes long. Highly recommended.

I was dive with Real Divers on 14 th september and everything was great. Contact to them before even coming to Thailand working also so well.Speedboat its so handy :) All stuff is so friendly and really makes you feel welcome. This was my first time diving in Pattaya but definitely not last, Im found my lifetime "companion " :)

I’ve been diving with Real Divers since 2006. Recently I went on a special night dive The organization As far as safety and logistics were top notch and speaks to their professionalism. The dive sites are well chosen and you will see many natural wonders that the Pattaya’s seas has to offer. Real Divers has the staff to provide the beginner, novice, and experienced diver, and those seeking to further their diver education and certification. I strongly recommend you try a speed boat dive where you can get two dives in , at wonderful sites in less than four hours. Specially dives such as night, wreck and tech can be easily be arranged I recommend checking them out, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Wow those years have gone fast lol. Its so nice to have divers/friends who still like to dive with us. You have seen how we have grown from a small dive center to a Padi IDC 5 star dive center. Hi it would be best if you used contact lenses most dive centers dont provide masks with corrective lenses if you get into diving you should buy a mask which will be ok for your eye sight.

The price is 3,900B but we do have group discounts. Price includes speedboat trip, Pro instruction, rental equipment, 2 dives, under water photos, DSD wall chart, lunch/snacks/drinks and pick up and return to your hotel.
