We were picked up from our hotel at 7.30 and driven to a meeting point to pick up our tour guide Perry who spoke very good English. Our first stop was to see the big Buddha which was an incredible sight. Perry explained about all the different Icons surrounding the Buddha and the beliefs of the Thailand people which were interesting. We were then taken to the diving centre where refreshments were on offer whilst we were kitted out with life jackets and snorkels. Then back onto the mini bus and down to the quayside were our speed boat was waiting. In all we were taken to 3 reefs which were crystal clear and plenty of photos were taken by the crew and the link sent for us to download the pics free of charge, which were amazing!. We found plenty of Nemos and other colourful species. We had lots of time in the water and perry and the crew were so friendly and helpful , plenty of time snorkeling and we were not rushed at any point!. When our snorkeling adventure was over we returned to the diving centre to shower and get changed , perry then took us in the mini bus to a nice little restaurant where we were given a lovely meal included in the price of the trip. Then back on the bus dropping Perry off on the way and back to our hotel. A long day but well worth it! Thank you to Perry and the team for such an amazing experience.

We were staying in Bangkok. The driver picked us up from our hotel at 5am. We stopped to look at the big Buddha which sadly was under construction. We then went to the coral island. We visited 3 different areas and went snorkelling. It was a fantastic experience! They take great photos which are completely free! The company is very professional and well trained. Great company and Parry our instructor was very good. Spoke very good English. We then had lunch and made our way back to Bangkok. It was a very good day. Very long day but ran so smoothly. Want to say a huge thanks to our driver and Parry! Definitely worth the visit and money!

With Oceanic Adventure, I took a full package including all activities, lunch, beach chair etc. The return pick up from hotel also included. These tours are very very very busy. we got to Coral Island not until after 12PM. The tour starts from a jet boat ride to the Parasailing pontoon, where you queue up for you turn, they take one or two photos of you, take off and landing, However the photographer are inexperienced, They'r timing were off and judging by other photographs as well as mine, they were just terrible. The second stop was the Sea walk. If you haven't ever done a sea walk, it is a must try. However it was fairly disappointing. We reached the bottom, and we had to chain arm in arm and the water wasn't that clear to see much. The photos that come with the package for sea walking, was just horrid. Terrible quality and to top it off, the photos i got were of the two hairy men next to me. So a fairly terrible effort by these fellas. Next stop is the Island for Banana Boat ride and Jetski. I decided not to do the Banana boat as it was too crowded and i did not fancy a group of middle aged, hairy men riding this thing with me. I went straight for Jetski. Although the Jetski was fun, I got 2mins on it, if that. Also one of the instructors sits with you even if you know how to drive it. To make sure you return in, well 2mins. If you choose to take Thai lunch, you will have to have your lunch at the island, about 2mins walk from drop off. However rushed. You must make sure you return back to pick up point by 13.20PM. I got to the Thai lunch eatery at 12.45, lunch served by 13.00PM. The beach chair. Well like i said, this beach is very crowded. If you expect a Beach Chair, for to sunbathe, like i did, just forget it. Over all a pretty average and very rushed and fairly stressful 3 hours. the travel from hotel and back is about 1.5-2hrs each way, this including all other hotel drop offs. All the Coral Pattaya package tours are average to Don't even bother. You are able to take a private tour to the island or take on of the big local boats over, last ride to mainland is around 4pm. I wouldn't even bother to go to Coral island as it is too crowded and it really isn't a beach thats worth the effort.

I went for package B, which has only 2 water activities. I choose underwater sea walk and snorkeling. This tour starts by gathering everyone one the the beach where they will brief us the whole day itinerary. They will split u into groups on speed boat. Take note that even if you are not eligible for the activity, you still have to follow and walk one side for those who are playing to finish(the down side of being in a group i guess) at the end of the day, they would have CDs for you to take home. Overall I had a good experience, my advise is get to know the guides, it will help as they will take extra care of you :)

It all comes in a package - 2200 Baht for picking up from the hotel, speed boat rides, parasailing, under sea walking, jet skiing, banana boat, snorkeling, a decent seafood lunch and then drop at the hotel back in the evening. They have lighter packages with lesser amounts also - ranges between 1800 and 2200 Bahts. So if you dont know Thai but want to cover all the water sports at a decent level, go for this. No thinking needed, just follow the guide !!
